The day has finally arrived: the 2015 Grammy's gather together musical talent at the top of the food chain, which means that NOVA Records will be well represented at this year's ceremony. Unfortunately, this includes performances from Keijen Blade's band, Heatless Passion, and Nadia Reichenov's, Derere, both of whom are working for "Chad Becksworth", aka Draken Crombe, head of the Shadowkind-hating cult, the Church of the Lord's Humanity.  Equipped with some sort of ability to hypnotize large crowds with subliminal messages, Wynn fears what lies beneath Keijen's intended performance, and is sending his Knights to shut down the broadcast, to prevent that message from being spread to millions of viewers worldwide.

Meanwhile, the gang finally has a chance to see Rafael Giovanni again - but what he's been up to in the months since they last saw him, and how his reunion with Buffy will go, remains to be seen.

Several of the Knights have decided that this is their last chance as well to try and break Nadia free from Keijen's influence, now that they've learned the truth about him - that Keijen is in fact Kel'in'hrae, sadistic son of the Nightmare God Malaak'a, likely working to free his father from the prison Sehanine had created for him.  The prison sealed by the relic that the team has been chasing for years, believing it to be an immortality-granting talisman of great power.

The truth, it seems, was worse than they could have imagined.  

One step at a time, however, and stopping the signal is first priority on Failboat's to do list for now.  With an actual plan under their belts this time, maybe this is the turning point they've been waiting for...

[It's funny how commonplace this is for her now. As Myri glances out the window beside her seat and watches the cloud creep across her view, she can't help but think back to the very first time she flew in one of Wynn's planes. It had been such a wonder. Now, she knew better than to think they were currently residing in the belly of a strange dragon. She knew quite a bit now, had adapted and changed for this world.

One hand rests gently against her stomach. She's been thinking about the sort of world she wants her child to be born into. There's much to be done before Myri would consider it a safe place for her son or daughter to be raised.

She stays quiet for most of the flight, but the seat next to her is available for anyone who needs her.]

[finnick drops down next to myri, like he do, a kisses her on the cheek.] Hey.

[witchwoman]

[A smile reflexively lifts the corners of her mouth.]

Hello. I was thinking that when we get back, we should schedule an appointment to see if they can tell if we're having a boy or a girl. [Myri is fascinated by this technology okay.]

Sure. [he glances down at her stomach like he can somehow ... see the baby.] Have you thought about names?

[witchwoman]

I've thought of it, surely. But there just...so many options. I don't know how to start to narrow it down. Have you thought of any you like?

[proudly, like he has put a lot of thought into this one, bless his heart] Anemone.

[witchwoman]

That's lovely. [She tilts her head at him.]

Does it mean something to you?

[It was about halfway through the briefing that Rose realized the joke about Myri claiming to be pregnant with Finnick's child wasn't actually a joke but given the content of the briefing? Yeah she'd waited until there was a quiet moment on the flight to drop down into the seat beside her, a smile tugging at the corner of her mouth.]

Seems like I'm congratulating you every time I see you these days.

[witchwoman]

[She gives a small smile and a blush.]

Thank you. It's been a bit of a whirlwind.

[littledhampir]

Hey, nothing wrong with that. [Nudging Myri gently with her leg.] Can I ask? When, ya know? [You're due.]

[witchwoman]

This summer, I think. [A doctor probably told her. Insert that date here.] It's still so strange to me that doctors can tell these things so easily.

[littledhampir]

Yeah. [She chuckles, shaking her head.] You pee on a stick and a couple of lines tell you whether you're pregnant before you even know you're late.

[Rose was from a modern world but that still spun her out.]

You're going to be a great mom. [Turning her head so Myri can see how sincere she is.]

I would have killed to have a mom like you growing up. [Strong, capable in her own right and yet still caring and kind.]

[witchwoman]

[She gives a small, grateful smile.]

Thank you. I really hope I will be. I don't remember anything about my parents. I never knew them. But I want to make sure my child always feels loved.

[chessing]

[ at some point when finnick and myri are sitting there together, jack makes his way over, placing one hand on the back of the seat as he asks: ] Do you mind if we have a word?

[finnick cranes his neck up to look at jack like] Er, not at all.

[witchwoman]

Of course, Sir Chessing. [Myri echos with a nod.]

I thought it would be wise to discuss Myri's condition with both of you, before deciding how we'll be divvying up assignments within. To find out what you will and won't be comfortable with.

[witchwoman]

As much as I know we'd both like to keep our child from any danger, the nature of our work doesn't truly allow for that to be a guarantee.

[finnick nods. yep. what she said.]

[attollores]

[Have a half-elf, Myri. Alainn would plop unceremoniously next to her early into the flight, holding a small folded bundle in her hands before handing it over to Myri, a small blush stealing up her neck as she does.] I've got a present for ye, Momma-to-be. [It's a tiny, hand-knitted baby blanket, made in neutral colors with tiny little knitted fish sewn on top.]

[witchwoman]

[Pulling out the blanket and unfurling it, Myri gasps.]

Oh, Alainn... It's beautiful. Did you make this yourself?

[attollores]

[Her smile is relieved, happy that Myri likes it. She gives a little nod as she answers-] Aye, I did. It's not the best, by far, but I wanted to give ye something that wasn't store-bought.

[And Myri would see the little imperfections in the blanket, a few snags here and there, a dropped stitch and some uneven lines (Craft idek: 16). Her blush is still there, but her smile is more relaxed than it had been.]

[witchwoman]

[The imperfections are what make it all the more special to Myri.]

It's more than I could have ever hoped for, Alainn. I love it, truly. [She reaches out with one hand to grab Alainn's to give it a squeeze.]

[attollores]

Then I'm honored that ye like it, flaws and all. It gave me the chance to practice me knitting skills, I haven't done it in quite some time. [She gladly takes her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze as well. Relief colors her features as her eyes skim down to the small baby-bump just visible under Myri's clothes, sadness and fondness mixing in her gaze. One hand reaches out tentatively towards her belly before she realizes how weird that would be, not having asked, and not sure how Myri would feel about having someone just petting her belly out of the blue. She slowly retracts her hand, pulling her bottom lip between her teeth.]

[witchwoman]

[Noticing that shift with her hand, Myri just smiles and reaches out to take Alainn's hand and press it against her stomach.]
