The day has finally arrived: the 2015 Grammy's gather together musical talent at the top of the food chain, which means that NOVA Records will be well represented at this year's ceremony. Unfortunately, this includes performances from Keijen Blade's band, Heatless Passion, and Nadia Reichenov's, Derere, both of whom are working for "Chad Becksworth", aka Draken Crombe, head of the Shadowkind-hating cult, the Church of the Lord's Humanity.  Equipped with some sort of ability to hypnotize large crowds with subliminal messages, Wynn fears what lies beneath Keijen's intended performance, and is sending his Knights to shut down the broadcast, to prevent that message from being spread to millions of viewers worldwide.

Meanwhile, the gang finally has a chance to see Rafael Giovanni again - but what he's been up to in the months since they last saw him, and how his reunion with Buffy will go, remains to be seen.

Several of the Knights have decided that this is their last chance as well to try and break Nadia free from Keijen's influence, now that they've learned the truth about him - that Keijen is in fact Kel'in'hrae, sadistic son of the Nightmare God Malaak'a, likely working to free his father from the prison Sehanine had created for him.  The prison sealed by the relic that the team has been chasing for years, believing it to be an immortality-granting talisman of great power.

The truth, it seems, was worse than they could have imagined.  

One step at a time, however, and stopping the signal is first priority on Failboat's to do list for now.  With an actual plan under their belts this time, maybe this is the turning point they've been waiting for...

[Seeing as Archer's mind can't articulate coherent thoughts right now, I figured a diagram might better reflect what Elena gleans from his mind: I give you, the mind of Sterling Archer.]

[Between kissing and gasping for air, he says;] Nice catch... Are you thinking what I'm thinking.

[Well, that was a trip. Is she high? Is he high? Probably yes, maybe to both.

The corner of her mouth perks up as she speaks between breathes.]

Well, I wasn't thinking about space pirates.

[The rest is...close enough. (I rolled a 3 on my follow up will save. Welp.)]

[The situation has picked up momentum, and is spiraling out of control. Archer has no problem with this.]

Space pirates sounds like a tomorrow kind of problem. Follow me.

[Archer slips up, and pushes towards the front of the plane with a 19 move silently check, trying to keep this on the down-low somehow, with Elena in tow grasping her close behind (assuming she has no objections.)

Burning some action points to make this a reality - because why waste them on combat situations when there's moments like this: Archer will lead them not to the lavatory, but into the cockpit. With a Intimidate check of 31, he'll "convince" the poor pilot to flip the autopilot on and take a break, relax, and have a drink. He'll even tell him where the superior minibar is stashed.]

She follows his lead, being a sneaky little thing (move silently 25), though I don't know how anyone won't notice this nonsense (poor Spike and his vampire hearing).

And considering she can actively read his mind for as long as she pleases, she's got him covered. :)]

Leagues better than the bathroom. [As she starts to unbutton his shirt with a fucking nat 20 dex check o.O] But I think you just wanted to hijack more than one cockpit on this flight.

[I rolled a 7... But with plenty of action points to keep this greatness moving, That will get rerolled. Into a (guess what?) that's right, nat 20. I just wanted better than 7, dice, I didn't want "Error 404: Clothes not found"]

It's too bad I don't have my paddle, though. [Ping pong paddles are a large part of Archer's sexual encounters. Don't judge.]

[Archer follows her cue and helps her undress, then presses her up against the control console.]

[Tossing those aside like it's their job I guess. Resuing that nat 20 to make sure she doesn't press any of the buttons and crash the plane. Thank goodness. That would be awkward.

[As she limberly wraps her legs around his waist and pulls him closer with a....nat 20 strength check (WHAT THE FUCK DICE STOP no but don't it's too funny seriously i couldn't make this shit up hahahaha)]

[Archer reaches over and grabs a captains hat - I can only assume there's a few on the wall.]

This is your captain speaking. We may experience some extreme turbulence. Please keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times. We have just entered, The Danger Zone™

[Not every roll can be a nat 20, sadly. But a 19 Strength is damn close, and gets Archer a 23 STR total. And then an Int total of 20. This isn't Archer's first rodeo, he knows exactly what he's about when it comes to cockpit sex.]

Her wisdom check isn't that great (13), but Archer probably won't mind considering that Cha/Charm check earlier. She rounds out her rolls with an 18 fort save, so she can go at this for awhile, so long as they don't break anything and need to get the Captain back there in a hurry.]

[He will do exactly that. And with a fort save of 24 from Archer, they could just go at it the whole flight, apparently.]

[The plane probably really would crash if they didn't let the pilot back in for 11 hours, okay.

So whenever they decide they're done with the intense acrobatics for the day, she lingers close to him for a lot longer than she probably should (thanks to another abysmal will save), head resting against his chest, limbs curled around him.

Apparently she's craving some affection, which may be surprising considering her usual flippant attitude about, well, everything. She's also...totally unsure if what just happened meant something. What do.]

I'm pretty sure when we go out there, someone's going to try to kill us. [A beat.] I don't mean that literally, by the way. Just...you know.

[Sigh. Do we have to go back. Archer will grudgingly accept that he doesn't want the plane to crash, eventually.]

They're welcome to try - figuratively and/or literally.

[He'll start getting dressed and helping Elena. He's keeping the captain hat on, though.]

I know what'll get their attention, though.

[With a wicked smirk he'll use his 18 Piloting check to identify the controls, flip the "Fasten Seatbelts" lights on, and disengage the autopilot.]

That should distract them.

[She's trying to fix her hair by pulling it back into a ponytail, so she has no opportunity to stop him when he goes for the buttons, but she has time to basically...panic.]

Are you crazy!? That's not going to distract them! That's going to bring them here!

[Archer puts his hands on his hips and laughs at that, like it's a ridiculous notion.]

Elena, how are they going to come up here, if they have to fasten their seatbelts?

Not to mention no one is flying the plane now.

[But I guess she....does, because she just rolled a 22 pilot check as she slides into the captain's seat. DOES SHE HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING HERSELF?]

Oh so everything else in this world is magical - but that fasten seatbelt sign isn't. That's just stupid.

[He starts to go get the pilot, that lingers at the cabin door.]

[Archer pops the hat on her. She earned it. He should have tried hard.]

Alright, well... I should probably go grab that poor pilot. But not so the plane doesn't crash. So we can get back to the Archer Bar.

Pretty sure your Archer Bar would be a moot point if the plane crashed.

Go get him. I'll keep this thing in the air until he gets back.

[He just nods - the lady has a point - and he saunters out of the cockpit. It's not long before he's berating the pilot;]

Wow, guy - I said "we'd cover for you so you could take a quick break" - not "punch out and watch the entire friggin twilight series." ...Which is what I assume you pilots watch these days.

Look - Just go fly the damn plane. Jeez!

[It's funny, because with her roll she could have just turned autopilot back on, but no she'd rather prove that she can fly the fucking plane. :D

She hears the pilot come back, lets him take control before she slips out of the seat and heads back into the main section of the plane.]
