Metropolis is a bustling city even during these cold winter months, but they have no trouble finding the Luthorcorp building - because it literally towers over the skyline, dwarfing the Daily Planet nearby. It's still daytime when they arrive, working hours, and employees in well tailored suits hustle in and out towards elevator banks, past the front desk.

She also stops the desk attendant.]
She's with me. I'll grab her badge for her and give it to her.
[Keep going gurl.]

Terribly busy. [ Emma answers snidely. The secretary's temper shortens, "It doesn't matter. You'll all have to sign in. She can't just walk in there." ]

[Diplomacy 39 or Bluff 41, take your pick. If that's not enough, she also reaches forward to brush her fingers against her wrist, using suggestion (will 21 to negate).]

not roll that.
She balks, opens her mouth, flusters a moment, then settles back into her seat and just dismissively waves them up after Lois. ]

lois tries to make herself look as presentable as she can in the metallic reflection inside the elevator (disguise 23) while they ascend and then turns to bo. ] How do I look?

Gorgeous and professional. You'll knock 'em dead.
[She's got the best back up ever, too. :)]

In a moment, the elevator slides open, and they're able to cross the busy floor of reporters to the Chief Editor's office. A woman in professional dress doesn't look up from her desk when they enter, instead snapping an annoyed, "I'm busy. So if you want to keep your job, I suggest you walk your ass right back out that door and actually do it." ]

"Are you fucking kidding me?" She drops her pen and glances past them at the open door, "Why do I even pay for security? GEORGE! GET IN HERE AND DO YOUR GODDAMN JOB!" ]

Alright, old fashioned way first. Fiiiine.]
No, really. You should probably hear her out.
[Diplomacy 36. She can probably take whatever guard comes in her anyway.]
She has one hell of a story.

"You can't expect me to print this." She drops it to her desk and looks up at them. "It's not that I don't want to. But LuthorCorp owns the Daily Planet. If I print this ..." She gestures to the story and shakes her head. ]

Lois Lane.
You might want to remember that one, because you're going to be seeing it underneath some scathing headlines in the not-so-distant future. It's up to you what paper's name is going to be sitting there on top of it.

"We'll take it." She points to Lois with the story. "Freelance rates. You're not on the payroll yet. Hell, when Luthor catches wind of this, you might not even make it on the payroll at all. He'll eat all of us alive." ]
