The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

I don't know if I'm the right person to ask. I'm kinda...the bookwormy type. But if you think libraries are a fun place to hang out, I can show you around the one here. It's so big.

But there's other stuff here too. Movie theater. Bowling alley. I think there's a bar in here somewhere too? One stop shopping, basically.

Sure, love, I'd like to see the library some time. Bet they got some interestin' stuff in a big place like this.

But yeah, that does sound like a one stop shop. How long have you been a knight?

Not very long. About six months? But I showed up right before this huge battle, so it was kind of a... crash course on knightly knight-ness.

A huge battle? [ He had heard of it yeah, but it was always better to ask.] Must'a been pretty scary. What happened?

This place called Andres was basically being controlled by a super bad guy. He was holding some of our people captive, so we went to stop him. I wasn't really in any of the big fighting, but I heard it got really intense. Oh! But I did get to see this giant spider monster. I didn't really help much with the actual... killing part, but I was there? And I knew what it was?

Bein' there still counts and seems mighty brave. How old are you, by the by?

Eighteen. [She knows she's one of the younger ones here whoops.] The Veil at least waited for graduation night, but right after that? I ended up here.

[She nods, a little eager in the motion. She's glad to not need to worry about finishing her schooling here. College was definitely in her big picture plan, though.]

Pretty sure no one in my graduating class would have voted me... Most Likely to be a Knight.

[With a little wave, Willow heads back out to the rest of the party, going to find old friends and maybe make some more new ones. She's glad at least for the one she's made tonight.]
