Instead of being directed to come to the Round Table, this group is instructed to meet at the downtown London Headquarters, told that this meeting has to do with the Children of Chaos, and that while only Francesca, Lydia, Will, Cora, Sam, and Sydney will be going into the field, Wynn would like input from everyone who has interacted with the cult in the past couple years.

For those who haven't yet been there, the main lobby area boasts an impressive silver dragon statue, about seven feet tall, immediately to the right of the entrance. The room is done in comforting wood and mahogany tones, and there's an array of tables and chairs across the room to the right, as well as a small piano. Statues of King Arthur and Lancelot flank the hallway that continues straight beyond the lobby, and there's a staircase leading up, with wooden dragon-shaped banisters, immediately beyond the bathroom door to the right.

On the left are two doors, and one of them leads into a room which also has a small reception window open, where they are received Between the doors hangs an ornate blue and silver tapestry with even more dragon imagery. It is an exercise in subtlety all around.

The woman working reception directs them each to head up the steps to the third floor, head to the end of the hall and take a right to the holo-room.

Yeah, that's right. They have a holo-room.

Walking in, it's possible to find Wynn standing over the much smaller holographic table, Tia, Eric, Faith, and Val'drin already in attendance.  

On the table sit two idols: both carved from hardwood, stained a deep, rich shade of brown.  Both are approximately 8 inches tall and 5 inches around at the thickest point, depicting a naked men standing with their arms at their sides.  One is emaciated and the other is obese.  Their faces are either horribly disfigured, or they're wearing masks.

There's someone else in attendance as well...

[HE SPEAKS. In an extremely monotone British accent, like he gives fewer fucks than anyone in this room.] Though I'm not surprised. If rumors are to be believed, your organization doesn't send out rank amateurs.

[Cora's eyebrows go up as strange guy speaks, turning back to him and considering for a moment.]

It was Candy King Kong. It's not like it was raining fire and brimstone.

[She says as though the thing didn't throw her forty feet like she was a baseball and his little minions didn't also try and beat Sydney to death.

Oh, and the guys with guns.]

Some of us got shot. Personally, I'm taking his advice and considering myself fortunate.

[ Said in a rather patronizing excuse me voice, not so much the snappy voice she could be using. The difference that liking Cora for saving her life makes, basically. ]

[will shows up with his dog lemon, because he's will graham ok, takes a seat, and stares at sark with his deadeyed scrutinizing stare. he at least recognizes if not actually knows all these other people. who invited this dbag????]

[There is an apologetic smile in Lydia's direction before she is distracted by OMG LEMON. The smile widens at the sight of the dog and she drops her hand down in the direction of the dog, reaching out to pet her if she is amiable (handle animal 19).]

[lemon goes over to see cora and receive pets. friend!! MEANWHILE WILL IS STILL STARING BC HE WAS THE ONE WHO WAS STARING, CHRIS.]

[STARES BACK.] I will admit I was expecting something quite different than this.

At least the dog has a name. [ she's gonna share in cora's petting duties, especially when the dog starts sniffing at her coat. dog pls. they're cat treats in there. ]

It's Lemon. [jsyk. once sark stares back at him tho he diverts his eyes somewhere else (still ... sark-centric, like his shoulder or something) because what if they accidentally eye contact????]

[he flicks his gaze over them and then towards the door, mulling something over, before finally saying:] Sark.

Carol. [She looks Sark over.] What do you have to do with all of this?

Zdravstvujtye. [almost idly, as if he's accustomed to greeting people in their native tongue.

He turns back to Carol and glances at the door. He was expecting a larger group, okay.] I would prefer to wait until everyone has arrived, if you can stand the mystery a bit longer.

[ squints at the return volley of russian. hmmm. ]

Will. [just so u know.]

[Archer stumbles in late, reeking of Whiskey, and he stops and glares at the pair of statues.]

Oh, this is just what hungover Archer needed - Creepy murder statues. Oh, and a dog. Hooray for that.

[He unceremoniously situates himself in a chair.]

[lemon takes a break from receiving love and affection from teenage girls to make a small barking noise at archer like hey fuck you too buddy.]

Lemon, no.

[Cora's attention is drawn from Lemon by that as well, and while she's not surprised, because it's Archer, she's also not amused either. So there is a nice narrow-eyed look at that. Leave Lemon alone, Archer.]

[Sark tilts his head in Wynn's general direction and just.... slow blinks for a second, and then he addresses Val'drin, because he seems like the sort of person who'd know.] I don't suppose you keep any wine on hand in this building? Or a decent bubbly, for that matter.

[At least not the last to arrive, Rose wanders in just after Archer, danish in hand, eyeing 'Bruce' like bitch, I am not sharing this with you, you already ate your way through thanksgiving.]

I take it he's new... [Thrown in Sam's direction on the back of Sark's query as she folds herself into a chair.

Have you met half the Knights? She knows at least Archer has one hip flask on his person right now.]

[There's a brief quirk of his mouth at Rose. Too true, Rose. Too true.]
