The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Someone had a really fun time stringing prefixes together. That's like a nonsense word.

[ she obviously expected an answer like that. ] It's a neurotransmitter that allows me to put you under and slowly drive you insane via nightmares or just bypass your delicate self-preservation instincts to make you tiptoe yourself right in front of an oncoming bus. It allows for a handful more abilities, but mine is the only one you'll ever see.

[Topher places his palms together to give her a look that mimics hers, only with a little bit of sardonic humor mixed in.] No, I don't know what that is, but I'm an expert at pinpointing neural anomalies and making them not so... anomalous. [no he doesn't do well with english. gdi he's a neurogenius, not a vocabulary experiment.] Your problem is connected to your ability to sleep, ergo I know where to look for it. Not knowing the underlying cause doesn't mean I can't draw some conclusions from the symptoms. Anyone with a neuroscience background can figure out the piddly-fiddly bits.
