[ Gold's been gone now for long enough to leave most people assuming that he isn't going to come back. Driven off by confirmation that he was, in fact, the Dark One from the Enchanted Forest by Gaston and Emma, the only indication that he's even alive came in a dream delivered to Belle, where he admitted that he was looking to understand more about this Dark One, perhaps seeking a way to refute the claims of the others. Plenty of people are worried, however, about what direction his search might take him. Others, however, are just plain pissed that he would abandon them without a word - and it's that anger that drove Faye to ally with GLADOS to discover that he was in Glastonbury, and with Lila's help enlist Zero to pinpoint his exact last known whereabouts, at a shitty motel. Together, the girls take a car and head out, hoping to find him once and for all.

There's only one car in the lot when they pull in, the VACANCY sign flashing forlornly above the office door. No lights are visible in any of the rooms, but a COKE machine provides some illumination, along with the lone pair of streetlamps that dully lighten the parking lot. ]

[Topher picks up his phone and forgetting for a moment THAT PEOPLE HE LIKES ARE IN THERE, he only says:] Dude. Does... he have to pay Hitler's estate to look that Aryan or what?

[sylar stares at him like omg u dumbass and then tries to call lila. only to get more three dog night so. u know. that's great. he's so pissed off/distraught he accidentally fries his phone with electricity. it's ok. lila would have wanted it that way.]

[Topher jumps and sort of awkwardly slides against the door, like HOLY SHIT.] Can you not do that in an enclosed space made out of metal? Please?

Okay! I get that. [he slides back into his seat.] So is there some... protocol for all this? Are we gonna start parkouring across all these cars to get to the danger?

[he actually looks excited about the prospect even though he just barely passed his field cert, does not have said gun with him, and also doesn't know how to parkour.

[sylar just stares at him like omg suck my dick.] I'm a psion, but I don't have anything that could get us towards London or back to the castle any faster.

What the hell? [sylar reaches out to fry topher's phone too because topher looks like he's possessed by the matrix and that seems like the reasonable thing to do. (atk 17; 13 electricity dmg to the phone)]

Well, yeah. Phones going all Matrix like that does tend to look creepy, but I could've figured out why it was happening.

[he hits his head against his seat.] This must be what Hell is like.
