The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Depends, that sounds like it would only be deadly to the person charging, not the people surrounding them.

Well, he'll be in jail soon. And they won't let him dye his hair anymore.

Jail would never hold him.

Perhaps not his ego. But he's not a cybernetically enhanced raccoon so I think a prison with particularly lax internal security would hold him well enough until his rampant racism caused someone to shank him in the yard. A well placed shiv to the thigh can cause someone to bleed out in less than four minutes and the sensation is described as altogether horrifying.

I don't mean physically. He's a snake, and he has snake friends in high places even today. He'll get off on some kind of fucking technicality, a slap on the wrist.

Wynn's going to put him on trial? That seems... I just thought he was going to put him in jail without due process.

The castle might have a dungeon but it's a temporary fix. We're not a prison, and Wynn would hand him over to the authorities if he thought he should be behind bars forever.

So we're going to kill him ourselves. [ that's the only option left and kali doesn't seem overly fussed about it, like she's talking about taking out the trash.

And I don't think anyone'll be losing sleep over it.
