The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

She's a very loyal person. I can't imagine her having a hard time making friends anywhere.

To be honest, I wouldn't know. But I have seen she does have loyal friends to her.

I tried. And then... I thought it would be better for her for me not to be around so she wouldn't have to deal with me, so I stayed in Andres to help with the repair efforts. Turned out to be the wrong choice.

I've talked to her, but I can tell she wants her space. She isn't happy that I up and left like I did.

No, it's okay. And to be fair, it is my fault... though the Veil is to blame for a lot of the confusion.

If someone showed up here, someone who knew you before... would you believe them? If they told you things about your life before?

I've had people say things to me, and in my gut I just know that it was true. I guess it would feel wrong if it wasn't true.

I don't know. Depends on what they're trying to tell me. I'd probably listen closer to them, though. See if I can tell where the lie is.

No, it's okay. Sometimes it helps to have someone to talk to that can understand. I'm not really that good at talking so it helps the practice.
