The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[With a grim expression and glance towards the doors of the chapel... Rose pulls out her stake.]

We don't need a Doctor, we need a distraction. [She stops short of running the point of her stake across her palm to explain. (WS 22)] I buy idiot Gardener who cut herself over surprise Doctor that nobody knows?

You really think this is the audience for people who care about the help's physical wellbeing?

[And out of the ambulance they bound, looking like pros, and Felicity swings a bag up over her shoulder as she talks to Vi and Archer, but keeping her voice low.]

What's the random doctor situation? Are we blown?

I think rich morons don't like blood. [But... she sees your point. She just. Doesn't like the plan.] It's your call.

[Cause that Will Save wasn't good enough for Rose to stand firm on this.]

[ she gestures to the chapel like they were asking the two random people if they were the ones having heart attacks, before dropping her voice to add over the comms: ] Not if you get in there right now. If they get up there just shove 'em out of the way. You have the badges, they don't. Now go.

All I have to do is keep them away long enough for the ambulance to get here, right? [ With that optimism in mind, Buffy shakes her head and moves past Rose to sneak into the building (move silently 32, hide 31) and make it look like she's approaching from within the rows... ]

[ They seem to be making their way over the hurdles without issue. He just hopes this doctor one isn't going to be their downfall. Steve keeps walking. Fast and with the fierce determination of a medical professional going to save a life. He's hoping to cut off whatever doctor hero is in there. He's big. He's hoping his size will be to his advantage in this situation. ]

[Rose does not. Look happy because. She thinks they should trust Elena to handle things but. She's not about to tackle her to the ground either so, she's just going to give the heads up to Elena at least.]

You have one fake Doctor incoming... [As she moves a little closer to the chapel doors, just so she's there to provide quick back up. (Hide 30 to not be spotted by those inside).]

Yeah inside, that way. [Archer points toward the chapel, mimicking Vi, then under his breath he asks her;]

Should we go with them? Or stay out here?

[ IN COMES BUFFY, who is quickly shedding the parts of her uniform that make her look gardener-y and trying to pull off casual instead. ]

Someone needs to get in there before the real doctor does. Where the hell is our ambulance?

[astrid is GOING THROUGH MOTHERFUCKERS OFF TO DO SOME MOTHERFUCKING DOCTOR THINGS]

This is crazy, right?

[And then she uses that as an excuse to pretend to edge down the aisle, as if trying to get closer and to get a better look, though really she's going to basically check the doctor as he runs past and go down with him. Maybe even keep him on the ground for awhile (touch attack 27, str nat 20, bluff 54).]

They had to make it look convincing. Real paramedics won't get here in two minutes. [He realizes in that moment that she's shedding her uniform.] Blondie, wait. You can't do this- [balking so hard] You're a terrible liar.

The doctor! [ as he goes slamming to the floor, checking his head against the tile, ow. he's just moaning in pain under 'lance' here, it's fine. ]

Stay here. [ she eyes the guards, leaning over to whisper to archer because now that there is drama she can work under the pretense of gossip. ] Someone is bound to do something stupid and if the ambulance is right here, this is right where they're going to herd Sarandis.

[doubletake]

Shit! Look where you're going! I think you just broke my ankle! Fuck!

[As she looks very convincingly pained, rolling around...basically on top of him. (bluff 54 again).]

[And Felicity is right behind Astrid, doing her best to look like a professional paramedic as she goes. TIME TO do some kidnapping SAVE A LIFE.]

We'll get to the giant "excuse you" coming for that timely insult when our mission isn't in jeopardy. [ scoff. ] But in the meantime, I don't have to a good liar. I just have to delay them long enough for the "real" paramedics. [ and now she's blowing through Des towards the door and I'm presuming I can keep those rolls from before bc I apparently didn't need her to sneak at that stage but at this one ... ]

[Myri barely has time to register that Buffy has entered the room before she's halfway out the door.]

Buffy-- [She keeps her voice down for the sake of...not starting a scene before they actually start a scene, but reaches for Buffy's arm to slow her roll for a hot minute.]

Just... please, be careful.

[slay]

[ Buffy stops just long enough to meet Myri's gaze, locking it and giving her a heartfelt nod, warm and confident. ]

We need this.

[ This win, this plan to work, this end to all of the heartache Sarandis has caused all of them. Myri needs this. Spike does. Kat, and Elena, and Mark, and she's not going to let him weasel away just because he had a doctor friend in attendance.

In the next moment, she's off. ]

[Des watches her go with an expression of incredulous disbelief, talking to open air as soon as she's snuck inside through the kitchen.] And Elena is.... What? Chopped liver? Mata Hari in a pillowcase?

[he pinches the bridge of his nose.] It's gonna be okay.

[ In comes Buffy from the side door, sneaking enough (move silently 32, hide 31) to hopefully appear like she's coming from among the guests—even if her clothes don't suit it. She moves for Sarandis' side readily through the crowd (str 28) shouting as she tries to get through. ]

It's okay! [ with her bluff of 16 excuse me this is action points o'clock 29, she beelines for him, holding her hands up. ] I can help! But everyone just needs to stand back until emergency services arrive, give him some room! [ diplomacy 38 ]

Move, people! [ decker calls, and the last few people get out of buffy's way. he looks up at her as she approaches: ] You're a doctor?

[ kitty looks up and then does a double take, looking buffy up and down carefully. ]

Elena gets her ass up off the floor and proceeds to act like the most entitled asshole in this entire room and hobbles over to who she has to assume is Buffy and steps in between Kitty and her, pointing down at her foot.]

Good, then you can take a look at my foot because if I can't walk the runway next week I am screwed.
