The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia. Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed: they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital. Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn. They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[ vi with a 39 spot check and archer with a NAT 20 both notice a slovechnian police car going down the road, passing the church.

[ still whispering, ] Rick, my love. You wouldn't happen to have that knockout gas with you?

[Archer flashes his Omicron Spymaster watch.]

[Archer starts off towards the nosey cops. Fuck tha po-lice.]

[ vi follows after him, ofc, turning every so often to keep an eye on the guards by the door. she's going to text gar, also, because she doesn't want this to go over the comms and start a panic.

Can you stop or reroute any police calls from the chapel??? ]

[ and they head up the road, but the cop car is pretty far that way. and as they start to get closer, it starts backing out of the place that it's parked. ]

[ as des' panic comes across the comms she sighs before touching it and adding for his benefit, ] We're working on it, calm your tits.

[Archer smashes his fists together, and there's an eruption of fire that rolls up to engulf both his arms, winds back, and hurls a bolt of flame at the cop car, dealing 10 Fire damage.]

We are going to have a long talk about what constitutes non-violent when this is over, Rick Steel! [ meanwhile she is going to sprint straight for the car. ]

that gout of flame came dangerously close to the gas tank of that car. the police car... backs into a light pole since apparently that really threw the guy off, amazing. the driver's door is on the other side from them, but they can see it open, and hear the cop yell: ]

ON THE GROUND, HANDS ON THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD!

[Archer charges at the officer, and does a flying kick, Atk: 35 / Dmg: 20]

[ omfg vi is actually shocked to a standstill. not by the cop, but by archer's flying kick and she sort of just watches in shock and awe while this happens, holding her action. ]

[ archer jumps right over the police car's hood, kicking the officer right in the face. he lets out a hurk, head snapping to the side, but manages to keep his grip on his gun, and staggers backwards, shouting into a comm on his lapel: ] WE HAVE HOSTILES, I REPEAT HOSTILES. [ before pulling the trigger (atk 23), the bullet going wide ]

[And he launches into a flame-fueled TWF full attack:]

[ vi's going to try to tip toe around the charred remains and lean into the car to grab the radio with ease like she's really used to police cars, weird. (search 24)

depressing the button she giggles breathlessly. ] Let me try before he comes back! Um HOSTILES! Hosti-- [ she giggles again before gasping. ] Oh my gosh, here he comes!! Quick, let's g--

[ she drops the radio and stands, turning to face archer. ] You're so grounded.

[Archer grins, not unlike a child caught doing something bad, and he blows at his flames as they dissipate.]

Aw, c'mon. No "Ooohs" and "Aahs" at the Pyrotechnics?
