[ abigail turns around easily, smiling at stiles as she reaches out to take his gloved hands again before pulling him along with her. shouldn't have let abigail pick the venue for their valentine's day date because she decided that ice skating was the peak of romance. you can take the girl out of minnesota, but you can't take minnesota out of the girl. ]

Okay, got one. Words cannot espresso how much I like you.

[ ah, punny valentines. she skates with the ease of someone who grew up in a winter wonderland. (dex 18) cheeks flushed from enjoyment, knit hat pulled down over her ears. it's definitely not the first time she's made him come ice skating with her though. ]

[He groans in a loving way, hands holding onto hers as they glide out into the ice.]

That's pretty good. But how about-- [Whatever he was going to say is cut off by the fact that his left foot suddenly dashes out to the side. His hands thankfully let go of hers at the last minute, so he doesn't drag her down with him, but he does crash to the ice with a thud. (dex 9)]

...I'm falling for you? Literally.

[ she laughs. she knows that she shouldn't and she crouches next to him to make sure he's alright, but...

she's laughing in his face. ]

You're a disaster.

[Pushing himself up on his elbows, he doesn't seem to mind that she's laughing at him. To be honest, he's laughing at himself.]

Yeah, well- I'm your disaster.

[theminotaur]

I don't regret it. [ she holds her hand out to heft him to his feet and it's very clear on her face that she really doesn't regret it. stiles is great. ] Enough resting for you.

[killingtodeath]

[He groans but gets back up to his feet... veeeery carefully.]

Maybe we can take it slow for a bit? Turtles on ice.

[theminotaur]

Don't be a baby, you were just sitting on an ice pack.

Ice packs don't do much for a bruised ego, okay?

[Not that he actually has shame. But he would prefer not to fall down again if he can help it.]

It's not like you had much dignity to lose, [ she teases. ] I've seen you dance. In public.

[He pulls a face, like he's s-so offended.]

What's wrong with my dancing?!

[theminotaur]

Everything, Stiles. [ she puts her hands on his shoulders. ] Everything.

I feel so...so betrayed! [such a drama queen]

[ one hand lifts to gently slide against his cheek, tipping it away from her in the world gentlest slap, coming with the breath of a laugh from abigail. ]

Oops.

And now abuse! [He cradles a hand to his face, as if he's been so harshly wounded.]

The things I put up with for love.

[Carefully, he skates all up in her business and wraps his arms around her waist.]

I'm going to keep dancing like and idiot, but only because it makes you laugh. And I really like seeing you smile.

Is it really that hard? [ pretty much with anyone else, yes. her arms circle around his shoulders, smile still steady on her lips. ]

Nah, but that doesn't mean I don't want to make sure I actively try to do it. The accidental ones are just frosting on the cake. [Holding onto her, he starts to move to get them s l o w l y skating while wrapped up in a hug. Which is probably going to end badly in a few seconds.]

This is nice.

Until you fall again, [ she counters, stretching up to kiss him. this is totally going to end badly. ]

At least this way I'm taking you with me. [He mumbles against her lips as he holds her close.]

Merciless. [ wow they're grossly adorable. ]

[Miraculously, they don't fall, and after a moment, Stiles pulls back enough to give her hand a little tug.]

C'mon- I'm hungry. I think this place has a food court or something, right?

[theminotaur]

Yeah it's out in the lobby. [ she lets him lead her off the rink, pulling her skate guards on when they get to the bench. ] Are you done for the day?

[killingtodeath]

Done here, sure. But I'd like to keep hanging out. Unless you've got another date to get to.

[He's teasing. But she should be used to that by now.]

[theminotaur]

I do, I've got to keep a schedule, Stiles. [ she nudges him with her shoulder. ] I meant are you done skating, you dummy.

[killingtodeath]

Yeah, I think so. All my limbs are still intact. Better to quit while I'm ahead.

[theminotaur]

You're not even that bad, you only fell... twice? I think you're even getting better.
