Hi. Dawn Summers. [ Her intro comes with a smile, sheepish wave, and a nod of appreciation for the tea. ] See, before my mission-o-rama, I would have considered Starbucks good coffee. But now? [ Cue the theatrical shudder. ]

No fantastic, romantic plans?

I think .. it'll be a while before I set foot in there again. [so. much. coffee. burnout.] You just got back from back to back missions?

[as for plans:] No, not unless eating my weight in chocolate counts. You?

Back to back to back and then some, it feels like. The glamorous life of a Knight. [ Half-shrug. ] Not that I'm complaining. I like staying busy, but I also like seeing home once in a blue moon.

[ She nods at Wanda's plans. ] That sounds like a good plan. Who has time for romance when there's chocolate and crappy rom-coms to watch?

[divaricate]

Staying busy is a good thing. Better than sitting around waiting -- though, I'm sure wherever you were working a couple months ago was better than here. [Everyone's heard about the attack by now, knows why the castle is still in some disrepair as work on repairing it goes on.]

No one, that's who. [She smiles. Oh, you're cool, Dawn.] I already like the way you think.

Better? [ She tips her head to the side, as if considering her options. ] Eeeeeeeh. More structural sound? Now there, yeah, totally. [ What beats living in a castle? A castle. ]

I have a few good ideas every now and again. Here and there. Though, I will fully admit to my bad ones.

Structurally sound always wins in my book. [She may be a little biased. She did spend two days stuck in rubble over a decade ago.]

At least there are good ones to balance it out with? [slight teasing.] I definitely have a knack for bad ideas, too, so...

A morning you can wake up with the roof still over your head is a good morning. At least to start. It can only go downhill from there. [ There's a story with a tent and camping and she is not going to go there. ]

Sooo we could make some beautiful music together? Or mischief. Or you know, fun. [ She smiles brightly. ]
