Well, if it is not, I'm sure there are many who would offer to give theirs for you, or share the room. The couches are quite comfortable.

One of the ones I was rooming with compared it to something called a sleep-over?

Oh! Yeah, that would totally be like a sleepover. Though those don't typically tend to be co-ed. [ She pauses, reconsidering her words. ] Well, I mean, they can, but they tend to be more for sexy times and not platonic.

What? [ There's a look of utter confusion. ] No, I just meant -- well, I mean, you know.. I mean I thought you were-- [ Dawn shakes her head, cutting off her stammering. ] I have friends. Female friends. And male. But not so many with that.

[ And now she's even more flustered because that's not what she meant. She's turning red and stuttering even more. ] No! No no, that's not-- I mean, of course I'd like to be--and you are really han-- But that's not-- [ She covers her face with her hands. ] I just thought we were talking in general. Other people bunking up, no matter if they're shirts or skins.

[ She's just going to keep hiding her face. Can the ground open up and swallow her now? ]

[he is going to laugh, his hand reaching out to gently pull it away from her face]

Dawn, I was just teasing you. Please, before you pass out from the blood in your face...

[ There's no way for her to play it off like she knew he was teasing. The hole is too deeply dug. Right now, as her hands move away, she can only look sheepish, and the shade of red seems to be getting darker. ] Do you think anyone's ever really passed out from embarrassment?

[ Or died? ]

No, but that does not mean there won't be a first time.

[ She takes a deep breath, willing the red to go away. ] I'm okay. No passing out, I promise.

Good. I would hate for me to be the cause of you doing so.

[watcherjunior]

Wouldn't be the first time and strong possibility it's not the last either. [ A beat. ] That I've been this embarrassed. Not that I've passed out.

Well, this instance will remain between just you and me, I promise.

Thank you. I mean, it's no big. I'm sure if you told anyone here, they would totally not be surprised. A major lack of surprise.

Ah, but then we will enter the cycle of you turning red and risking passing out. We do not want to risk it, yes?

It's a good possibility. Maybe. Probably. Right, better not risk it.

Then I will just leave you with this flower, and look forward to seeing you again soon now that you have returned.

[ The look that crosses her face first says But wait, why do you have to-- And there are other roses still. Right. ]
