Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already somehow... But most of these people know each other.  Wynn is already here with Zero, who is hunched over a laptop, when the others arrive.

[well, he got a 22 will save, so he moves damn fast, even if he isn't wetting his pants in terror, taking his bag with him.]

Are we in grade school here, ladies? You think this delicate mission's gonna go off with just one genius? [He flails a hand as he moves over to the other side of the table.]

[ lila promptly sits down in the vacated seat, idling out of the conversation as she sips her tea. ]

There's more than one. [despite considering topher her latest replacement gunther, she has no qualms with cutting him a look like she will eviscerate him. SHE IS A GENIUS. and also zero. but mostly her.]

[ zero doesn't look up as lila relocates topher, but when she's sitting next to him, he says: ] Glad you made it. He figured we needed some back-up. [ he nods his head backwards at wynn, like god can you believe this guy, w/e ]

Different kinds of geniuses, Astrid. [Meanwhile, Topher looks pained, and doesn't seem to be that concerned that Zero doesn't want his help.]

[ lila makes a hrmph noise. she loves astrid, but she's not sure she wants to be on a mission with her considering how astrid feels about her curse work. topher's just... she can put him to sleep if he annoys her. he doesn't matter. ]

I would have dragged Faye along anyway. I think Wynn's figured that out by now. [ especially if it was another unsanctioned mission, which lila is so good at. :) ] Although I'm a little concerned with the idea of sending my part-robot best friend against someone who can effectively control technology.

[ her eyes lift. LOOKING AT U, WYNN. just sayin'. ]

You think someone is going to hack into Faye's nervous system? [like srsly?]

Pretty sure I can prevent that. [Casually, as he glances over at Wynn like he expects him to dole out some Adelle DeWitt harshness because of Lila's MOUTH. Jesus Christ.] Might be why I'm here. Just gonna trust the boss man on this one.

It's been considered, but Sir Hughes is certain that we can not only protect her, but that she may prove particularly useful in this endeavor.

It seems we might have nailed down his location. Problematically, we expect him to have GLaDOS with him.

I'm going to go on record as saying that we only brought GLaDOS home because we needed help carrying home our petrified teammate.

[ lila rolls her eyes, lips pursed. ] Of course he didn't. What's the plan?

[ he glances at faye ] But I've got an idea in mind that I'd need you on board for. It's risky, but ... anything's gonna be.

[Faye's eyebrows lift as Zero addresses her directly. For the most part, her weird run in with a spell gone wrong hasn't impacted her day to day life. She has flashlight eyes, but...she forgets about it 95% of the time.]

I may not be a genius, but I'm not agreeing to anything until you tell me what it actually is.

Lila's right, that if we bring you along, he's gonna try to take advantage of it.

He hacks into you... we can have a virus waiting for him, something that'll shut him down so we can move in.

[It's not a question. And she doesn't look thrilled at all.]

No one's gonna make you agree to it. We brought you here to ask you. It's your call.

[Topher, for all his negative wisdom, ACTUALLY KEEPS HIS MOUTH SHUT, but he has the wide eyed look of someone who is probably way too excited about putting a latent computer virus into someone's brain.]

You don't have to do this. He's ridiculously skilled -- he's put Zero over here into a trance twice, shut down most of the castle defenses when it was attacked, and he almost sent the entire London Eye and everyone riding it into the Thames where, if they'd survived the G forces he was sending it to, they would have drowned in their little pods. It took Zero and Skye to kick him out of Drakenet. [ she doesn't really mean to throw zero under the bus, but this is her best friend, she's going to give faye all the information before she makes a decision. ]

And he's got no scruples, and thinks that makes him better than everybody else.

That's part of what I'm banking on here, actually. He thinks I won't play dirty, won't risk somebody else to take him down.

But the way I hear it, you've got balls of brass, so I figured it's worth asking.
