Cordelia and Steve have gotten together to plan a rather fun party to celebrate Sarandis being taken down. Abbie even managed to grab them a rather awesome band to entertain the guests and everything else was hand picked and decided on by Cordy and Steve. It's not as fancy as a squiring after party, but it's just as fun. The ballroom has been "dressed down" a little to match the relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy yourselves!

I know I got a few blank spots myself. Things that I really haven't tried to scratch at. [ He nods. ] What's wrong with the information they gave you? Was it rough to hear or just jumbled?

Jumbled. Incomplete. I know I'm the Slayer; I know what I do. I just don't know where I came from.

So, you're missing the important history of what you are then huh? [ That's how he's seeing it. ] And you haven't found a single soul here on this side of the veil that knows what a Slayer might be?

A few who might, or should, but don't seem to have much more than the surface. That we're called to fight demons. That we pass our powers on to the next generation when we inevitably, violently die doing it. Nothing about where that power comes from.

Do they know of anyone in this world that might have a few more answers for you? As in not directly connected to the Knights. Someone you might have to travel to in order to speak with.

Well, that's how I found Robin—he knew some. His mother was one of us. But other than that ... I don't know.

Chicago. A hunter's bar. [ And then, as if she had forgotten herself, she straightens up and presses her fingertips to her brow. ] I'm sorry. I don't know why I'm telling you all of this; this is wildly not your problem.

If you want I could go with you sometime. If you ever wanna dig deeper.

[ Steve raises his brows. ]

We're a team here. Your problems are my problems.

... Just like that? [ It's been a long time since Buffy made friends outside her tightknit little group ok. To a certain extent, she's forgotten what it's like, and there's a levity in not having years worth of baggage to go with it. ]

Just like that. We're teammates. I'm not gonna judge you or ask questions. If you need someone--I'm here.

[ Maybe to Archer too. Maybe. If he doesn't set him on fire in the process. ]

[ After a pause, she nods, a Mona Lisa smile in the works there. ]
