Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already somehow.

[Abbie arrives shortly afterwards, promptly helping herself to a seat. She's been here awhile, but it's her first official briefing.]

[ Skye's sunny disposition darkens slightly when she comes in the room, and she seats herself a few chairs away from Abbie with the would-be detective between her and Ward. ]

Any idea what we're in for?

[arretez]

[ jeanne swans in in jeans and a plain white tee shirt, looking like a teenager and considerably younger even than skye, she parks herself in a chair, blowing on a mug of steaming tea idly. ]

[ Doyle makes his way in, and nods at the other.]

Hey.

[ He moved and took a seat.]

Have any of you been on missions before? [ Technically, Skye thinks, the castle siege probably counts as the equivalent. It was how she'd been promoted, after all. But this whole process is still as foreign as if she were still a squire. ]

[arretez]

I've been on a fair few. [ hundred. her smile is touched with humor, but still calm and kind. ] I am Jeanne d'Arc, what are your names?

[hacker]

Skye. [ With a smile, she looks around to get a read on the others. ]

[scorekeeper]

Doyle [ He spoke up with a nod.] Nice t' meet you, love.

[leftenants]

Abbie Mills. [It doesn't feel as strange as it once did, leaving out the 'lieutenant' bit.] This'll be my first.

[silvermaid]

[ anastacia makes her way in finally, a coffee cup in hand, looking a little chagrined ] I hope I'm not too late.

[hacker]

Depends how keen you are on team building exercises.

Anastacia! We've not been out together in ages.

Jeanne! [ her answering smile is wide ] How have you been, dear?

Je ne peux pas me plaindre. I saw Faith is here, I almost cannot believe she is not a little girl anymore. How are Jared and the children? [ nbd just gals being pals. ]

[hacker]

Not a little ... [ Skye looks between Ana and Jeanne like ?? ? ? ] No offense, but wouldn't you have been a little girl with her?

[arretez]

I am not as young as I look. [ she looks a little apologetic as she continues. ] I turned 604 in January.

[leftenants]

[Abbie resists the urge to let out a whistle.]

Guess it goes without saying that you've aged well.

[arretez]

That's very kind of you. [ and she's totes blushing tbh. ]

[hacker]

... How? I mean, what— [ That's a rude way to ask the question she wants to ask. ] Are you an aasimar?

[arretez]

Oh, no, I could only wish to be so divine. I'm human, but in my youth I was very nearly killed and the ritual preformed to revive me, combined with the very first blood transfusion, rendered me immortal, as it were. [ the ease with which she relays the story speaks to the truth of it, fingers lifting to brush against the scar near her collarbone. ] Not invulnerable, but I do not seem very capable of dying from old age.

[heavensend]

I can only hope to look as good in five hundred years. [ says the actual aasimar ] Jared's doing well. Stressed over work, as he tends to be. Hope's been keeping busy with work and Dylan will be graduating film school shortly.

And Chastity had a novel published.

Damn. Too bad about the invulnerability. Wouldn't have said no to a teammate with that on my first mission.

[scorekeeper]

[ Doyle was listening still just stuck on the hot chick being that old. Wow. Go ritual.]

Grant Ward. [He glances to Skye, but doesn't remark on his previous mission experience - since it wasn't with this organization.]

[Abbie will just be sitting here taking mental notes, thanks, though a smile pulls at one corner of her mouth as she watches the exchange between Jeanne and Anastacia in particular.]
