[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding. 

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. Well, in a way, we're asking the divine to tell us whether something will turn out well, or not. The pregnancy, in this case.

Can we find out the sex this way, too? [LOOK HE WANTS TO KNOW.] I mean- after we make sure that it's healthy and everything.

Well, I was going to ask Lurue, since she's most likely to give me an answer. And I might be able to manage that too, if it's what you both want.

Whatever you can find out would be great. The less surprises the better, right?

[Bo usually is fine with surprises. This one...less so, all things considered.]

Do I need to do anything?

[Andrew just nods like yes please find out what sort of baby they are having plz and thank you.]

Anything and everything you can get from the gods would be great. We're flying really blind here.

I just need you to have a seat, and stay positive.

I think I can manage that.

[She's pretty good at being optimistic okay. Thank goodness for that.

She'll just...have a seat, relaxing back into it.]

[And Andrew will come move to her side, reaching to hold her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. He's practically vibrating with excitement and nerves.]

[ she pulls out a little necklace with a lily on it, and closes it in her hand, sitting next to bo and closing her eyes as she starts speaking in... celestial, which neither of them speak... ]

[She watches her carefully, teeth tugging on her bottom lip.

It's a pretty language. Too bad she has literally no idea what she's saying.]

[This sort of thing is fascinating, but also omg hurry upppp he wants to know stuff about his babyyyyy.

Just stares and waits, biting down on his tongue to keep from asking questions.]

[ anastacia reaches over to take bo's hand, prompting her to place the necklace in her own palm ] Hold that a moment.

Oh, sure.

[She takes the necklace, closing her fingers around it but being sure not to squeeze too tight, as if it might be particularly fragile.]

[Andrew looks from Ana to Bo and back again, like ??? But he keeps quiet and doesn't interrupt. He's about to burst with excitement though!]

[silvermaid]

[ ana puts her hand over bo's, says a few more words... and then the necklace begins to glow hot in her hand. uncomfortably hot.

and then scorchingly hot to the point where it burns her and anastacia's chanting cuts off as she lets out a gasp, flinching against something as her hand flies away as well ]

[Bo's fort save was garbage so as Ana's hand moves, she drops the necklace, holding her burnt hand with her other one, wincing as tears sting her eyes.]

What...was that?

[Bad. Probably bad.]

[Andrew jumps backwards but quickly scrambles back to Bo's side.]

It's fine! [He practically shouts.] I mean... it's fine. [Quieter this time but focused on Ana.] ...isn't it?

I... I don't know what that was. It was like-- someone interfered.

[She's still holding her hand, but her brows furrow deeper at that, confusion settling in her gaze.]

Why would anyone want to do that? Who would even care enough to bother? Not to mention how?

I'm pretty sure only people around her know that she's even pregnant. And no one here would want to... I mean, right? Unless you mean-- Is it like... a god thing? Another god blocking out your god from talking to you?

[he doesn't really know much about that sort of stuff.]

I... I assume it must be something like that, unless-- unless it has to do with what Bo is. [ she sure doesn't sound convinced of that tho ]

Has anything like this ever happened before?

[She's assuming no, tho. Based on that reaction.]

Or any like... suspects? Gods that would or could block you out like that? Anybody got any beef with your goddess? Or with succu...bi?

There are those who stand against Lurue, yes, but-- I don't know enough about succubi to say what their relation to them would be.
