The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[ Cisco got a 7 on disguise, so he looks freaking ridiculous. He pulls at his collar when he arrives at the ballroom and sees it full of fancily dressed people, all Knights and Sirs and People More Important Than Him. He makes his way into the room proper, keeping an eye out for anyone he recognizes (17 spot), and failing that, heads for the bar to get a drink. Something fruity, with lots of sugar to mask the taste of how TURNT he's going to need to get tonight. ]

[Well... Clark got a 6 so apparently he showed up to this thing 15 mins because he was doing some work outside, so he's all dirty farmboy style, oops. But hey! He knows that guy! That guy being Cisco!]

[ Ridiculous, just a teeny bit cute. Potato, potahto. Dawn's happy to be home for a second squiring party in a row and, as such, has decided to go all out. (disguise 20 total) After saying hello to a few people, she can be found standing at the bar when Cisco comes up. ] Hi! [ Her smile is bright and cheerful. ] Welcome to the Knights.

[ He still doesn't get the whole gender-ambiguous naming system, but whatevs. He sips the drink, looking at her outfit and then his own. ]

Mars didn't really try to look his best, and his hair was done up in the most half ass man-bun, but he made his way through the ballroom all the same. A little black cat trailing after him. Walking up to Cisco the six foot four sorcerer smiled at him but didn't offer a hand to shake. ]
