[ According to their mission dossier, while Bogdanovich is a certified genius, he's also a bit of a flake. They'll have to make certain that he doesn't get into any trouble or wander off, while keeping an eye out for potential kidnappers or spies who might be after his research.

In order to avoid drawing attention to his arrival, Wynn says that they've arranged to meet him at the baggage claim inside the airport. The file contains a photograph of the professor as well. ]

[ regina's arms are folded as she scans the room with disinterest (spot 15), still managing to notice, just as skye and stiles do, the professor across the way, entering the baggage claim area. his pants ride up high above his ankles, and he pushes his glasses up his nose as he darts quick, insecure glances around the room, apparently having zero idea what he's looking for. when his eyes land on the baggage carousel, it seems to capture all of his attention. ] Let's just get this over with.

[Stiles nudges Kenzi and Kyomi to get their attention once he realizes that about half of them have spotted the professor. Turning, he steps backwards towards the professor and addresses them all.]

You guys wait here while I get him and bring him back here. Just keep an eye out for anything suspicious. Can't be too careful, right? [This feels too easy. Or maybe he's the paranoid one, but... there has never been a plan that sounded better than this plan (diplomacy 45 - stiles that is absurd). So unless anyone goes to stop him, he'll just stride over to the professor to collect him.]

[ bogdanovich looks startled when stiles approaches, his attention focused so tightly on the baggage carousel that he apparently doesn't notice him until he's right there.

"Oh! So sorry. Er..." ]

[Kyomi leans over to Skye, shielding her mouth with her hand to look inconspicuous while she eyes up the professor.]

Oh, he's bloody precious. Look at 'em. Bless.

No kidding. [ With Stiles on top of that, and Kyomi running the peanut gallery, Skye takes it upon herself to suspiciously scan the crowd (spot 20). ] Doesn't it seem a little too easy? The doctor's paranoia being the only problem we have to deal with? The guy has an armed escort of five for a reason.

[ there doesn't seem to be much standing out to her that hasn't already been noted... people are craning their necks now to watch for luggage as it begins its slow circle around ]

Maybe the good Doctor wasn't the only one who was paranoid. Something about Wynn having a few holes blown in his house recently?

[ She looks dissatisfied with the answer, and with her inability to see anything to validate her Bad Feeling, but drops it all the same. ]

Oh. Trust. If there were a link between the amount of times people got shot and how much we got paid, I'd know by now.

[Of course, a lot of those times she was the one shooting their people.]

You'd think we'd get a bonus, in that case. No one gets shot or nothin' blows up, and we get a nice bit of extra pay.

[ annnnnd as a piece of luggage matching the description hits the belt, kyomi is the first to react... ]

There it is. [and she's gonna head on over to fetch it.]

I'll give you hand. He strikes me as the type to pack half a bookshelf in his luggage. [Kenzi with a Spot Check of 21 as they go.]

[ no more have they pulled that piece of luggage off the rack, then the professor wanders over as well, without a word to stiles.

"Ah yes!" he says, smiling pleasantly. "My bag, thank you."

he reaches to take it from them, but at the same time, the woman from earlier, who has been pointing out a bunch of other bags to her chauffeur, who is dutifully unloading the matched set on her orders, points at the bag as well.

"That one, Simon. Don't forget that one! What are they doing with my luggage?" her hand lifts to drag her sunglasses down her nose, narrowing her gaze at them. ]

[Stiles presumably hears her say that? I'm guessing? If so, he would step towards her and offer a little lopsided smile.]

[ she frowns deeply at stiles' words, glancing down the luggage belt.

"I want to see the luggage tag," she acquiesces, looking a little less ruffled about someone seemingly stealing her bag, at least. "Simon, bring it here so we can look at the luggage tags."

the man in the pinstriped suit from earlier, who stiles had presumed to be an undercover cop begins striding purposefully forward towards kenzi, kyomi, and the professor, reaching inside his coat as he does so to draw something out... anyone with a 15+ spot check can notice the movement. ]

[ With an 18, Skye spots it as she heads over, so she takes one for the team and deliberately bumps into pinstriped guy over there. No real violence in the force, just enough to cause a spill (unarmed attack 24 ? ?? ? 26 if it can be a charge) ]

Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry. [ She holds her hands out in immediate fauxpology, attempting to distract him from the task so they can just ... leave with it (bluff 21). ]

[ skye successfully barrels into the man in a suit, and what he was reaching for clatters to the floor - and seems to be some sort of badge, that lands facedown. he shoots her an irritated look, one hand moving to his waist as if to make certain something is still there beneath his jacket.

"Beg pardon," he says brusquely.

regina, meanwhile, looks disgusted by all of this hubbub and strides quickly forward towards the professor, lifting a hand and flicking her wrist in the direction of the chauffeur as subtly as she can (sleight of hand 20), a dazed look coming over his face as his hands drop and he stares into space for a few seconds. ] Let's get this over with.

[ the moment skye plows into the pinstripe suited man, however, the nervous looking guy darts forward in a sprint right past regina ... but trips on the badge and goes skidding wildly forward, slamming into the side of the baggage carousel beside kyomi and kenzi with a loud, painful BANG as he crumples to the ground. the professor's eyebrows climb up and he mutters: "Oh dear." ]

Well, this is going lovely. [Kyomi goes to... check on the poor bloke that just crashed into the carousel. (treat injury 10 to see if he's unconscious?? i guess she just... lightly picks up his wrist)]

Kenzi moves forward to 'assist Kyomi' when in reality she's picking his pocket in case he's concealing a weapon or has anything that might tell them what they're dealing with. (SOH... Nat 20 which is overkill seeing as her mod is +20 anyway but sure. Why not. Being sketchy like a boss.]

[ he is out cold by the way his wrist flops back down, and kenzi draws a small knife out of his pocket. with simon dazed, the professor leans down to check the baggage tag and frowns at it, saying quite loudly: "I don't believe this is actually mine after all..." he goes to pick it up and turn towards the carousel, presumably to go put it back.

the woman, upon hearing this, raises her hand and points at the bag, protesting to stiles. "He said it's not his!" she shifts her attention around him to the chauffeur. "I told you to grab my bag, Simon. Why are you just standing around with your thumb up your ass? Can't get good help these days..." ]
