Solace's announcement makes the situation unfortunately plain - those who have worked to stop Blade and company for the last five years have been side-lined, and will be until this ends, one way or another.  Jack has sent out a secret communication to all members of the team, asking them to gather in Thomas Bancroft's old room, which has stood empty since his death, and is usually locked.

When they make their way there before 8am, however, they will find the door unlatched.  Jack is already inside, with Gar seated near him, one hand on his arm.  Kat leans against the wall behind Fred, who is seated in a chair.  Her arms are folded, and she's grinding her teeth back and forth.

[ Rose, Sam and Dean having dinner with Mark and Alainn was a perfectly expected thing. Had she been coming and going from other Failboat rooms, then maybe it would raise a few eyebrows but this was her Best Friend, the very one she rarely got to see these days with her living on Andres.

Yeah... she kept repeating this to herself the whole way to the room they were staying in but wasn't convincing herself that it would work. Good thing Rose is better at acting casual than she is feeling it. (Bluff 32).

Now what Rose hadn't told the boys was that she was fairly sure this dinner thing, was less about covering an escape and more about Alainn wanting to have a chance to suss Sam out. Up until now, trying to explain the complicated mess that was Dean's relationship with Sam, was like navigating her way through a minefield. Everything led back to Hell and it was safer not to get into it. About the only thing Des and Elena seemed to have made easier? Was Rose's ability to explain complicated bullshit.]

Trust me, Alainn can cook. Dean and I pretty much lived on her cooking when we were rebuilding Andres. [Making idle chit chat so as not to look half as grave as she felt.] And don't worry, she'll probably have some of the crap that you like.

[That was for Sam. And by crap she means healthy food.]

I'm sure no matter what it is, it'll be fine. I'm not like a freaking vegan or anything.

[He does enjoy a good burger from time to time, Rose. He's just not you guys.

Also this feels strangely normal, which is why he's also worried that it's suddenly not going to be when he's least expecting it.]

Chicken in a salad, doesn't count as eating meat.

[Rose wrapping lightly on the door as they reach the bedroom.]

I don't know how he got that tall, eating like a rabbit.

[The door is yanked open even before Rose is done knocking, a wide-eyed Alainn standing there with a huge grin on her face, despite the gravity of the situation they've found themselves in. With a squeak, she pulls Rose in for a bone-crushing hug, no matter they had literally seen each other just hours before. Just as quickly as the hug is given Rose is let go and Alainn is launching herself at Dean, her grin growing even more if that's possible.]

Oh it's so good to see the two of ye! And Dean, it feels like it's been ages! [There had to be an outlet for all of her pent-up nerves and Rose and Dean were apparently the perfect victims, thus the unsolicited bear hugs. She hadn't forgotten about Sam though, and as she lets go of Dean her grin grows no dimmer, though she doesn't accost him (give her time), merely sticking out an enthusiastic hand to him and clasping it with her other warmly.] And ye must be Sam then? It's a pleasure to meet ye.

[She holds the door wide for them to all enter and the delicious aromas filling the space would waft out to them as they did.]

Well come in, come in. The food is warm and waiting!

[ Rose has long been used to the hugging when it comes to Alainn, and while she might not openly admit it, is ever grateful for them in times such as these. When everything is basically the worst?! A little human contact goes a long way.

It doesn't stop her from sporting an amused smirk when Dean gets the same treatment, but it was nice to have a friend who liked him as opposed to... everyone who didn't when they first started dating.

That's what she gets for being unwittingly connected with one too many members of the Hell Fan Club. (Yeah don't think she hasn't gone over every Dean conversation she ever had with Helen and Des since all this shit began.)]

Good. I swear every time I tried to get food today I got cockblocked. [Though at least the reason had been a good one she supposed, if she could really call Myri's distress good.

It's only once Rose enters the room that she allows some of the casual mask of happiness to slip away, a little weariness creeping back in as she lifts a hand in greeting to acknowledge Mark.]

How often does she kick the cooks out of the Kitchen back in Andres?

[That's quite the exuberant handshake, Alainn, but he'll go with it. He's not as emotionally constipated as his brother, at least.]

Yeah, you too. Thanks for having us.

[He moves into the room after Rose and Dean, taking a quick look around. He manages a similar greeting to Mark, a lifted hand and a half grin.]

It smells great.

[He hadn't realized until right now how hungry he was.]

[ dean's eyebrows shoot straight up and he just sort of lets the hug happen without doing more than giving her an awkward pat. mark smiles a little back at rose, shaking his head ] If I answer that, I might get magically punched in the head, so I'm going to respectfully hold my tongue.

[she snorts] I wouldn't waste a spell to punch you, love.

[Once they're all inside and the door is closed, she pauses with her hand on the frame, closing her eyes and muttering a few words under her breath as she casts screen on the room. The conditions she sets are that any who attempt to look into the room magically or otherwise will only see the five of them eating dinner and sharing in good conversation, with no mention made of their upcoming escape. After two hours, Rose, Sam and Dean will leave allowing her and Mark to turn in for the night. They will not see her casting any more spells or their escape from the castle.

Once she finishes she calls Fede to her, whispering a few quiet words into her familiar's ear before the bird seems to shrink and turn to nothing more than a wooden statue that Alainn then tucks lovingly into her pocket for safe keeping.]

Well, go ahead and dive in, we've got a plane to catch very soon. [and instead of waiting for anyone to get food, she will just start dishing for them all, her nervous energy seeking a way out. She also doesn't seem too concerned about watching what she says, continuing on] Did all of you grab everything that ye need?

[Rose is hungry so there are no arguments here. Some people don't eat when they're stressed but it's okay because Rose eats enough for them.]

That depends on your definition of need.

[I seriously doubt this is the first time this has come up.]

Do teleportation spells work on cars?

[Her brows shoot up as she pauses in dishing up for Mark, looking from Rose to Dean and back again.]

What who now?

[familybusiness]

[Sam isn't even surprised. He knows exactly what this is about, barely looking up while he's helping himself to food.]

They want to bring the Impala with them.

[Back to chewing and swallowing before he gives a quick:]

This is delicious, by the way.

[attollores]

The what where now? [Her brain is taking a minute to actually compute what it is they're asking of her.

The Impala. Dean's car. Rose had mentioned it in passing, how it meant more to him than words could express. Her brain catches up and then there's nothing more to it than to figure out how to make it work. Her phone is out of her pocket and she is on google in a blink, looking up the specific dimensions of the Impala (Wis 17 to remember the year correctly). A few moments of chewing her bottom lip and muttering to herself and she finally looks up, nodding her head with a triumphant smile.]

I can make it work, but ye have to trust me. I can't teleport it, but I can take it with us.

What do you mean 'have to trust you'? [ HE DOESN'T LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT ]

It will fit in my vault. Just barely, but it will fit. [She chews her bottom lip, watching him for his reaction.]

[familybusiness]

Your...vault?

[What does that mean, though.]

Whatever it is, it's better than leaving it here. [He looks at Dean.] Right?

I mean if it's good enough for Anderson's body...

[Look, Rose is just amused by this idea but she's 100% for putting the Impala in the vault.]

[attollores]

Aye, I've got a large, magical vault that I can put anything not living into, including a car. It's just big enough.

[She hopes they're all finished eating cuz she's ready to move out.]

Of all the things I've put in there, his body was the most satisfying. The Impala would be an honor.

[She stands, cracking her knuckles and stretching, limbering up for the spells she's about to start slinging.]

And what happens to it if something happens to you?

We've just got to get it out of here, Dean. It doesn't need to stay in there for very long.

[They can park it at this mystery place they're going to and worry about the rest later.]

[attollores]

[It's a fair enough question, especially considering how precious the car was to him.

She gives a negligent shrug of her shoulders, explaining-] If I die, the vault safely ejects all of its contents in the same area that my body is located.

But like Sam said, it needn't stay in the vault long, just until we get wherever we're going.

And she's not going to die on the way to the airport.

[She gives Mark a grateful look, then a quick kiss on the cheek.] Thanks for the vote of confidence, love.

She's not going to die, period. [So. Exasperated.

Can we please stop talking about people dying?!]

I trust Alainn with my life, I think we can trust her with The Impala.
