Sidelined from the mission that has been many of their lives for years, the group who had once stood against Keijen Blade has made a dangerous gambit - they've decided to leave the Knighthood, knowing they may never be allowed to return.  With them, have gone Sam and Dean Winchester, and Faith Lehane.  Their destination?  A distant monastery overlooking the village of Krozna, in the Ural Mountains.   This hidden location was home to many Shadowkind who did not wish to deal with the prejudice that their appearance might force upon them out in the world, particularly in Russia.  Wynn had apparently established a location here for Knights that broke the rules of the Knighthood so extremely to reflect upon their crimes, or for those whose powers made it impossible for them to live out in civilized society.

This monastery of misfits is run by a man named Mikhail Kalachnik, a willing exile who volunteered for the position, a man vouched for as trustworthy by both Jack Chessing and Finnick Odair.  It is here that the former Knights will set up a base of operations from which they intend to rescue Rafael Giovanni, research a way to stop Keijen Blade, and take him down once and for all, along with the evil Mind Master.  

But first, they must get to know the exiled Knights with whom they will be sharing this hideout...

[Eventually, Myri decides to let Shayla explore (with supervision, of course). She's curious about this place, anyway, so the two of them are headed down hallways, peeking into open doors. It's probably not the wisest choice she's ever made, but she assumes if anyone was outright dangerous to run into, someone would have mentioned to steer clear of a particular room or person.

Plus, she's got spells that can fuck shit up, so don't poke the mama bear, basically.]

[Felicity is sorting through the various criminal elements she brought with her, but her door is wide open, just in case someone wants to poke their head in, and in this case it seems like someone does. She spots Shayla out of the corner of her eye and smiles.]

Well, hello there.

[witchwoman]

[Shayla is still adjusting to Felicity's new face. She's been told who it is, but she's still a pretty shy kid so it takes time.

Myri steps up behind her daughter and nudges her forward.]

What do we say?

["Hi, 'Licity." The little girl's voice is quiet but her smile is genuine.]

[klep]

Hi, Shayla.

[She knows it's nothing personal, and it's just the new face, but she wouldn't say the way Shayla gets shy still stings a little bit. But she swallows it down and ignores it, moving from the bed to sit on the floor so that she's more on the little girl's level.]

You know, I haven't had the chance to ask you yet. But I have all this super long hair now. What do you think I should do with it?

[Something simple and neutral, and hopefully she'll eventually see that it's still the same Felicity, even if she doesn't look the same.]

[witchwoman]

['Ummm...' Shayla looks up at her mother before slowly stepping forward to reach out and touch Felicity's new hair. 'Bwaid it? Like Auntie Vi does for Mommy? I know how.' Clumsy toddler braids, really, but close enough.]

[klep]

[Her eyes go wide with feigned surprise.]

You do! Well, if you could help me out, I would really love it.

[And you know what, she can work with clumsy toddler braids.]

[witchwoman]

[With a bob of her head, Shayla reaches for Felicity's hand and leads her over to a spot on the floor. 'Sit, pwease.' She says, her voice still soft.

Myri finds a spot to sit as well.]

[Felicity settles where she's told, folding her legs under her Indian style, before she glances over at Myri.]

So how are you doing with all this?

[Because Myri has been through A Lot in the last few days.]

[witchwoman]

[Shayla starts gently finger combing Felicity's hair. She seems very concerned about trying not to hurt her.]

Honestly? I'm not sure. There's barely been enough time to process any of it.

[klep]

[And Felicity keeps nice and still so that her head doesn't jostle the braiding process too much.]

That's fair. The last few days have definitely been a whirlwind of insanity and emotional revelations.

[witchwoman]

I think that may be more true for you than any of us. How are you doing?

[klep]

It's kind of up and down.

[Which is more of an honest answer than she's given to anyone beyond Vi, really.]

I'm glad that I'm still here, but ... this girl had a life before she was me. She had a family. And I know that I didn't kill her, not really, but I'm the reason they can't ... have that closure. It's not a good feeling.

[witchwoman]

[If only Myri knew just how much she could related to that...]

I can't imagine. Did you.. speak to them? Do they know?

[klep]

I spoke to her brother. Her twin. He ... did not take it well.

[As well he shouldn't.]

I don't know what he's going to tell his parents.

[witchwoman]

Do you think we have anything to worry about? He won't try to track you down or anything, will he?

[klep]

[She frowns as she considers that, before shrugging.]

I don't think so? But if he tries, I don't think he'll be able to find me unless he has access to like ... facial recognition software and stuff that I don't think his family has the money to afford.

[witchwoman]

You still have friends back at the castle, right? I'm sure someone is making sure nothing like that happens.

[klep]

[She nods.]

Yeah, my boyfriend and a few other friends. I'm sure they're on top of it.

[witchwoman]

[Myri's quiet for a moment before she says quietly]

I really want to do my best to make sure you make it back to them. [The fact that Felicity died and she was incapacitated and couldn't help has really struck a nerve with her.] I have the healing potions from the castle back in my room. I want you to hold onto one- just in case.

[klep]

[That wasn't your fault, Myri, you LOST YOUR BRAIN STEM. But that isn't the point and Felicity is quiet for a moment because she doesn't want to take up precious resources.]
