Sidelined from the mission that has been many of their lives for years, the group who had once stood against Keijen Blade has made a dangerous gambit - they've decided to leave the Knighthood, knowing they may never be allowed to return. With them, have gone Sam and Dean Winchester, and Faith Lehane. Their destination? A distant monastery overlooking the village of Krozna, in the Ural Mountains. This hidden location was home to many Shadowkind who did not wish to deal with the prejudice that their appearance might force upon them out in the world, particularly in Russia. Wynn had apparently established a location here for Knights that broke the rules of the Knighthood so extremely to reflect upon their crimes, or for those whose powers made it impossible for them to live out in civilized society.
This monastery of misfits is run by a man named Mikhail Kalachnik, a willing exile who volunteered for the position, a man vouched for as trustworthy by both Jack Chessing and Finnick Odair. It is here that the former Knights will set up a base of operations from which they intend to rescue Rafael Giovanni, research a way to stop Keijen Blade, and take him down once and for all, along with the evil Mind Master.
But first, they must get to know the exiled Knights with whom they will be sharing this hideout...

Growing up in the Northeast means that while she wasn't used to Russia levels of cold, she at least knows how to layer up. The problem is the layers she brought were bought for a different body, so in addition to not feeling comfortable in her own skin, she she has a physical reminder of how out of place it all is.
So that's great.
It's why, after she and Faith settle on a room and she throws on a sweatshirt over her travel clothes, she wanders out into the monastery itself to get the lay of the land. She stays out of obviously private places, not wanting to intrude on anyone's life here, but still wanting to learn where all the exits were, just in case they needed to get people out of there in a hurry. She's still adjusting to being shorter and stockier, so occasionally she'll stumble because her stride isn't quite as long, or catch her shoulder on a corner, and she already knows that's going to get very old, very fast. Still, the only way she's going to get used to this is to use it, so hopefully, she'll be walking better than when she started.
And then ... she will go in search of booze. She's spent far too much of this time sober, and while she knows they're supposed to meet up again in a few hours, she could do with a shot or two. Plus, being that this is a new body, she should see how good her tolerance is.
It's for science.
So she'll be actually snooping in public places or knocking on doors of other members of the team with a particular question so feel free to catch her in either.]

he was only gone for literally a few days and it's not like krozna is usually booming, so his room is just the way he left it. which is to say, it's pretty austere. it's a room. however, there are some drawings tacked up from when he got his ass out of bed long enough to attempt therapeutic crafts. they're all beach-type scenes and not particularly good, except for one (he was just really good at capturing the essence of jellyfish ok. don't look at me look at the dice). it sucks when your favorite hobby was tying knots but you also probably shouldn't be trusted around rope so you have to find a new hobby that also isn't alcoholism.]

[After a little walking with Felicity around the place, she branches off on her own. The place is big and she has to wonder how many of these places that the Knights own are as big as this. It's a lot to consider. All the different outposts, the different headquarters -- that's a lot of upkeep, a lot of utility bills. All the missions that go out and come back with money, treasures, and who knows what else.
Maybe it was a good idea for her to make this her last gig. Just walk out after they save the world, because she'd not gonna let them fail this one. Which is why she stops when she comes to the training room. It's not like she actually needs anything fancy -- she just needs something to hit and this place has just that.
She moves around the room for a moment before settling on one of the heavy bags hanging in the corner. She squares up and starts hitting.]

Sometimes he's flipping through one of them gingerly, eyes scanning the pages for anything useful and to add to his general knowledge of this world (he's still working on that). Rose
[ Rose liked the cold about as much as everyone else, but that was what made the roof preferable to the rooms downstairs. Keeping to herself was a habit these days, one she wasn't ready to break under the circumstances and her overwhelming need to hit things hadn't lessened in the course of the last couple of hours.
Her movements are stiff at first, hindered by the biting cold of the mountains as she stabs and slices at the air with her silver stake. If anyone happens to watch her a while they'd see her fall into a deadly dance as Rose attacks an invisible foe with deadly grace.
This is the closest she ever comes to being at peace these days; when the world around her falls away and it's only the fight she's carrying out in her head. The danger in that, however, is that it's best you announce your presence because getting too close to an armed Rose is dangerous to anyone's health. ]

kat will spend the next week basically going into tech withdrawal hard and fast. she's generally grouchy and anxious to get moving, but likes to let off steam by throwing fireballs at the snow on the mountain. it's fine. she seems to get in a tiff with fred pretty early on and actively avoids him half the time.
gar is really on edge ever since she finds out phillip is here. she avoids him for now, and her and jack seem to be trying to navigate this weird emotional place she's in. she spends a lot of time in the village, perhaps being a little bit avoidant.
mark is largely attached to alainn, but when he's not, he spends a lot of his time training with fred on the large roof outfit, until he gets too cold and has to go get some hot cocoa.
isabella is exceptionally restless, so she'll butt in on what other people are doing plenty of the time.
fred trains with mark, tries to make up with kat, and can be found working out a lot in his room.
jack trains quite extensively himself, and also spends a lot of time speaking with dominik and mikhail about the situation.
dean sticks with rose and sam mostly, but he can be found doing general weapons maintenance, scouting out the village, and trying to find some booze.
mikhail quietly runs the joint, checking on everyone, conferring with jack, visiting the village, and helping chop wood when they run low from all the extra fireplaces that are burning around here.
dominik is the most social of the group, so he'll gladly speak to anyone who wants, or train with them.
phillip mostly keeps to himself, with his nose almost always in a book or in his scribbled writings. he spends time largely in his room or the common room in a corner.
sveta is hard to find, generally. she moves around like a bit of a ghost, spending a lot of time in her own room, but also out in the mountains. it's hard to tell what she does with her time, but she can be found knitting, despite her claws.
vlasi gets increasingly anxious the longer people stay there. he seems to not want to alter his daily routine of moving around the place, but complains under his breath constantly about the presence of others and freaks out if anyone comes anywhere near him. he helps with things like cooking and cleaning.

Study
The study is where she would spend most of her time, reading the few tomes there and quite a few that definitely weren't there when they arrived. She scribbles notes to herself, and occasionally there are sparks and bangs and other such noises and sounds, but when it gets too loud she would bring herself to the roof so as not to disturb too many people. At various times she would try and coax Kat to practice their spellwork together, with the tidbit that she may or may not have borrowed a few of the Knights spellbooks.
Kitchen
She is frequently in the kitchen when she needs a break from learning new spells, either cooking or to keep company whoever is occupying the room at the time. And whenever she cooks, the food is damn good (craft cooking 30).
The roof
Her louder and more dangerous spells are often practiced on the roof of the monastery, away from any potential friendly-fire victims. It's also a good place to let Fede out and about while she is able to keep an eye on her, her eyes turning from bright green to burnished gold as she keeps tabs on the feisty bird. For the lucky person, they would find Alainn stretching and then attempting some fighting stances, punching and kicking an imaginary enemy, but she really is... not all that good at it (Dex...4. SHE'S A MAGE NOT A FIGHTER, DON'T LAUGH AT HER.) She doesn't seem to be trying to hide her attempts at physically fighting, but she definitely is not about to advertise it to the world when some of the scariest fighters the Knights had were with them here in Krozna. :/
Feel free to bump into Alainn in any of these places, or find her in her room, on her way to or from the village, really wherever!
