Sidelined from the mission that has been many of their lives for years, the group who had once stood against Keijen Blade has made a dangerous gambit - they've decided to leave the Knighthood, knowing they may never be allowed to return.  With them, have gone Sam and Dean Winchester, and Faith Lehane.  Their destination?  A distant monastery overlooking the village of Krozna, in the Ural Mountains.   This hidden location was home to many Shadowkind who did not wish to deal with the prejudice that their appearance might force upon them out in the world, particularly in Russia.  Wynn had apparently established a location here for Knights that broke the rules of the Knighthood so extremely to reflect upon their crimes, or for those whose powers made it impossible for them to live out in civilized society.

This monastery of misfits is run by a man named Mikhail Kalachnik, a willing exile who volunteered for the position, a man vouched for as trustworthy by both Jack Chessing and Finnick Odair.  It is here that the former Knights will set up a base of operations from which they intend to rescue Rafael Giovanni, research a way to stop Keijen Blade, and take him down once and for all, along with the evil Mind Master.  

But first, they must get to know the exiled Knights with whom they will be sharing this hideout...

[ Buffy leans over to check on Lucia — yep, sleeping, leaving her alone — and then trudges along with the both of them back towards Felicity's room. ]

You're gonna make me blush. I come bearing gifts, too. [ as she walks, she turns sideways so felicity can see the two nips peaking out of her back pocket and hopefully take them. ]

[She will reach forward and take those nips for herself, before leading the way back to the room where Faith is out. She reaches for the duffle bag she brought with her and pulling out a small zipper case of ... questionable credit cards.]

[ vi settles lucia on the bed so she can snooze in peace while they chat. ]

That sounds gross. I think we'll have to trek down to the village for more and I'm a Mediterranean people, I'm not into this chill. [ a beat. ] I'm sorry, did you say Melissa? You don't look like a Melissa.

[She nods, with a smirk.]

[She shakes her head.]

Still can't believe the guards actually bought it.

Boy, there's a nauseous kind of loathing I haven't felt in a while. Have I mentioned lately how big my happy is that that guy's dead?

[ vi snorts a laugh. oh melissa. OH MELISSA PLS. ]

[She smirks and nods in return.]

I will third that sentiment.

[And eventually she will select one of the credit cards with a nod, and then reach for one of the still packaged burner phones.]

If we can get enough service to activate it, then we should be able to make a call or send a text.

[ kat is just gonna... barge into the doorway and rest a hip against it, folding her arms ] What up, losers.

Checking to see if Felicity's phone works and then probably bitching about shit. Incidentally, since we don't have much booze... you guys know I can grow weed, right?

[ like they can have an alcohol alternative at their fingertips if they so choose. ]

[ vi glances around at felicity and buffy and kat, her girls, and her mouth settles into a slightly annoyed frown. ]

[ she hops up quickly to shut the door because yay literally anything but weed talk. ]

I took myself to the airport, 'cause I had to stop for diapers. And while I was walking, Des decided now was the best time to apologize for shit that happened literally years ago.

[Translating things into Hell time makes her head hurt.]

Why do I feel like this isn't a case of "better late than never"?

"There's no excuse," he says, followed by justifications, 'cause those aren't excuses. Which, like, his excuse is that he's old as fuck and no human was ever supposed to be that old blah blah blah and no one can understand how he thinks because he's the only one. [ vi's lips purse. ]

[ buffy glances away and downward, frowning. she doesn't want to get into that. ]

He reached out to me too. He's trying to find whatever in he can. That's all. He thinks an apology will appeal to your good heart. And ... And he thought promising to help me get Rafael back would appeal to mine.

[ kat looks at buffy carefully ]
