Sidelined from the mission that has been many of their lives for years, the group who had once stood against Keijen Blade has made a dangerous gambit - they've decided to leave the Knighthood, knowing they may never be allowed to return.  With them, have gone Sam and Dean Winchester, and Faith Lehane.  Their destination?  A distant monastery overlooking the village of Krozna, in the Ural Mountains.   This hidden location was home to many Shadowkind who did not wish to deal with the prejudice that their appearance might force upon them out in the world, particularly in Russia.  Wynn had apparently established a location here for Knights that broke the rules of the Knighthood so extremely to reflect upon their crimes, or for those whose powers made it impossible for them to live out in civilized society.

This monastery of misfits is run by a man named Mikhail Kalachnik, a willing exile who volunteered for the position, a man vouched for as trustworthy by both Jack Chessing and Finnick Odair.  It is here that the former Knights will set up a base of operations from which they intend to rescue Rafael Giovanni, research a way to stop Keijen Blade, and take him down once and for all, along with the evil Mind Master.  

But first, they must get to know the exiled Knights with whom they will be sharing this hideout...

The laptop doesn't have a connection - we use magic to get it one every once and awhile. But no, not a downloaded copy. Why?

I wanted to analyze the ritual that was going on, the weapon that Blade had on him. If I figure out how he did it, maybe we can use it against him.

[If it killed his dear old dad, it should kill him too, right?]

[shootfirst]

[ she purses her lips together ] We might be able to get a good enough clip. He was waving that thing around for a bit.

[familybusiness]

I don't know if it'll help, but it's worth a try. We need all the help we can get, really, and there's not much else I can think to do while we're here.

[shootfirst]

You're climbing up the walls too, huh?

[familybusiness]

[He smirks.]

Aren't we all? I mean, it's bad enough the world's going to hell, but to be completely removed from it, too? Not my idea of a good time.

[shootfirst]

I get the idea or whatever, but it seems kind of stupid as fuck to me. I'm trying to hold in my judgment but my face isn't great at it.

[familybusiness]

I just wish that if we were going to go into hiding, it wasn't all the way out here. But maybe they were just trying to give us time to regroup before things get really bad again. A little bit of peace.

[shootfirst]

I think it's also that they don't want anyone to come and kill us with god powers before we make a plan and save the world.

[familybusiness]

If a god were desperate to find us, I think they already would have, honestly.

[Such optimism.]

[shootfirst]

I dunno, he's new at this god stuff. I assume it takes some time to figure it all out.

[familybusiness]

Fingers crossed that's the case. And that it takes more time than we need to figure all this out.

The sooner he's taken out of the picture, the better.

Gee, I thought we'd wait until society as we know it was destroyed before stepping in.

[familybusiness]

[Sam cracks a smile at her sarcasm.]

Touche.

[shootfirst]

I'm not big on patience. But not big on suicide either, so I guess they've got a point in not charging in.

[familybusiness]

[He manages not to chuckle.]

Well hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer. [A beat passes.] Let me know if you get ahold of that footage, okay?
