krozna ♔ our wrongs remain unrectified
WHO || Failboat, Mikhail Kalachnik, ?? ?? [closed]
WHAT || The Ex-Knights of Failboat arrive at Krozna
WHERE || Krozna, Russia
WHEN || 2 days after LA
HOW || Actionspam or prose
Sidelined from the mission that has been many of their lives for years, the group who had once stood against Keijen Blade has made a dangerous gambit - they've decided to leave the Knighthood, knowing they may never be allowed to return. With them, have gone Sam and Dean Winchester, and Faith Lehane. Their destination? A distant monastery overlooking the village of Krozna, in the Ural Mountains. This hidden location was home to many Shadowkind who did not wish to deal with the prejudice that their appearance might force upon them out in the world, particularly in Russia. Wynn had apparently established a location here for Knights that broke the rules of the Knighthood so extremely to reflect upon their crimes, or for those whose powers made it impossible for them to live out in civilized society.
This monastery of misfits is run by a man named Mikhail Kalachnik, a willing exile who volunteered for the position, a man vouched for as trustworthy by both Jack Chessing and Finnick Odair. It is here that the former Knights will set up a base of operations from which they intend to rescue Rafael Giovanni, research a way to stop Keijen Blade, and take him down once and for all, along with the evil Mind Master.
But first, they must get to know the exiled Knights with whom they will be sharing this hideout...

one by one, i will collect them all, starting with mikhail
(probably not gonna sleep with anyone else though.)
lucia makes it easy to butt in on her friends, since vi is a proud supporter of the concept of "it takes a village" and failboat is her village, but she also makes it easy to greet some of the others -- she has been told to be gentle with sveta and vlasi because vi only needs to watch him for a second to know he wouldn't want a tiny orange child hurtling at him like a projectile. mikhail comes with no such caveat so lucia stomps up to him and his ax in her new fluffy white coat that makes her look like one of her beloved sheep and demands: "I chop. I help!"
vi shrugs helplessly, she's certainly not going to stifle that kind of impulse. ]

Why don't you stack the wood neatly, lovey? That's helpful. [ lucia debates this internally for a moment before nodding and moving out of the way to some already chopped wood to start carefully arranging it in some toddler kind of stack. it's almost too heavy.
vi looks to mik. ] I can't exactly stop her from wanting help. She's used to pulling her weight at the castle, however light. If you've got a broom, she's a master sweeper.

[ whoops. ]
Not that I don't trust Jack's judgement, because honestly this does seem like the only place for us right now, but I am sorry we've been sort of dropped at your feet like unwanted pets at a shelter. You guys all had lives for yourselves and we just barged in.
[ a beat. ] With kids and drama. Weirdly most of the drama is unrelated to the children.

so she changes the subject on a frickin' dime. ]
Dom says Sveta, well he said you said she drifted, between human and animal. Some sort of nature magic.
[ there is no question, but the curiosity is apparent. ]

Her -- [ vi wriggles her fingers, as if indicating her claws. ]

but what the fuck does she know? she cheerfully accepted that zarad was an aasimar like her and he turned out to be a demon? devil? whatever, she doesn't even care, it just added a check to the "sucks at trusting the right people" column of her life skills. ]
Yeah. [ it's a weak acknowledgement that she was listening and understood, but she's gone and rolled herself into an unhappy train of though and it turns off most of her curiosity. ]
Unpredictability could be an asset, but I guess it might not outweigh the possible liability.
