krozna ♔ our wrongs remain unrectified
WHO || Failboat, Mikhail Kalachnik, ?? ?? [closed]
WHAT || The Ex-Knights of Failboat arrive at Krozna
WHERE || Krozna, Russia
WHEN || 2 days after LA
HOW || Actionspam or prose
Sidelined from the mission that has been many of their lives for years, the group who had once stood against Keijen Blade has made a dangerous gambit - they've decided to leave the Knighthood, knowing they may never be allowed to return. With them, have gone Sam and Dean Winchester, and Faith Lehane. Their destination? A distant monastery overlooking the village of Krozna, in the Ural Mountains. This hidden location was home to many Shadowkind who did not wish to deal with the prejudice that their appearance might force upon them out in the world, particularly in Russia. Wynn had apparently established a location here for Knights that broke the rules of the Knighthood so extremely to reflect upon their crimes, or for those whose powers made it impossible for them to live out in civilized society.
This monastery of misfits is run by a man named Mikhail Kalachnik, a willing exile who volunteered for the position, a man vouched for as trustworthy by both Jack Chessing and Finnick Odair. It is here that the former Knights will set up a base of operations from which they intend to rescue Rafael Giovanni, research a way to stop Keijen Blade, and take him down once and for all, along with the evil Mind Master.
But first, they must get to know the exiled Knights with whom they will be sharing this hideout...

Hot chocolate. No marshmallows though, sorry. They were all out.
[No blaming his dislike for things sweet and fattening.]
no subject
Probably safer. We're in Russia. Everything here is a weird version of what we'd normally have.
[No really. They put cocktail onions in vodka. Russia is weird, bro.]
Met any of the locals yet? [It was the politest way she could think to describe Wynn's Rejects.]
no subject
Yeah, you could say that.
[He says it too quickly, with some disdain.]

Picking up what Sam throws down, and then some... (SM 32).]
That good, huh? [Hardly surprising really. Elena didn't even get sent here after the bullshit with Kyp so she figures those that are here take it to a whole other level.]
Anyone we should be worried about? [They might be guests here but Rose is a-okay with taking matters into her own hands if need be.]
no subject
Not necessarily, but he's not exactly fun company, not to mention a little obsessive.
[He takes the tiniest sip from the mug, finding it too hot still.]
He's Gar's ex, I guess. He's also an actual legit cyber terrorist.
no subject
Gar's actual ex or... they dated only in his mind?
[Gar is with Jack okay. Gar does not strike Rose as the type of woman who would date crazy.]
no subject
[But Gar had clearly tried to set the record straight and Jack got protective, so...]
Hopefully, it doesn't cause any problems.
no subject
[ I mean /looks at Elena and Des. Not wrong, okay.]
no subject
[#Winchesterparanoia.]

What're the chances this place has a dungeon?
[She embraces the paranoia these days, lbr.]

[l o l wat is happening rn]

Might be worth talking to Jack and Mikhail about exploring that option if he can't keep it together. Better than the alternatives anyway.
no subject
We just have to cover all our bases, just in case.
no subject
[All very matter of fact cause Rose is frankly not in the mood for things to go from bad to worse. Or... terrible, horrible no good very bad to fuck our lives, why this.]
Upside, us being in the middle of nowhere, I can't imagine he can do much. Not like he got sent here for setting fires.
no subject
[Do they even have the web out here? Probably not.]
But yeah, I'll point him out. Otherwise, he's the only one I've seen with glasses.
no subject
[Though, honestly? If Jack is already across it she's not too worried. She imagines he'll be extra diligent if it involves Gar.]
I'm a little more worried about our own people than I am about the residents.
[Echoing the sentiments shared in the meeting.]
no subject
[He palms the cup with both hands, warming them.]
I feel bad having to keep a close eye on everyone, but we don't really have a choice. If they figure out where we are, we're not gonna be able to get rid of them.
[They didn't really have anywhere else to go, as far as he knew.]
no subject
[She's aware that she sounds like a paranoid freak but she has a great appreciation now for how bad things can get if you put your faith in the wrong people.]
Hell doesn't come with a flashing red sign that reads, don't trust me I'm a devil. [
And even if it did, Sam isn't exactly good at obeying the warning signs.] They worm their way in through the people we care about... making it so that nothing is left untainted by their reach.no subject
[He's realized there's no running away from this. It's everywhere, around them, physically a part of him. Even if he wanted to rub his soul clean, he can't.
But he can use what they gave him to fight back and make them regret every time they stick their noses where they don't belong.]
no subject
Probably not the healthiest thing to want from somebody but given their lives...]
I felt bad at first. Not about, looking into Elena but, keeping it from everyone. [ It went against the grain, to hide something so big from the people she cared about. ] But the deeper we got, the more I understood what Dean has dealt with all these years. All it takes is one person saying the wrong thing at the wrong time...
no subject
[And some people would try to see past that, but the likelihood that 99.9% of people would be able to stop doing that and just completely accept the situation? Slim to none.]
We're not getting away from this. Not completely. Even if we play it perfectly.
no subject
I'm used to it. [Trying to play it off, like that reality doesn't bother her half as much as it actually does.] When Dean and I went after Elena and Kyp... Nobody said it outright, but it was made pretty clear that we were the bad guys for tracking them down while they all flocked to Elena like she hadn't done anything wrong.
[She lifted her hot chocolate to her lips, allowing the sweet, warm liquid to roll across her tongue before swallowing. Her mind pulling apart the tangle of thoughts that had knotted inside her head for years.]
Who knows... maybe if she'd ever been made accountable for the damage she caused and the people she hurt, things might have been different.
no subject
[Just saying. He listens to the rest quietly, nodding in the right places, not speaking until she's done.]
They probably felt guilty they couldn't stop her. Or they were in denial that she'd do something like that. [Not that that makes it right, but you know...he didn't know Elena, so he can't really comment too much.]
Maybe. Or maybe not, if they already had their eyes on her. It's hard to know.
no subject
Or in denial about who she actually is... People always want to see Elena as the victim. Somebody who needs to be... protected or, saved.
[ Rose had never seen Elena that way, perhaps because they were the same age. She'd viewed her as an equal, somebody just as capable as she was, no matter the situation. Elena wasn't physically strong no, but being capable was about so much more than that. ]
Maybe... [ But she shakes her head. ] Or maybe when they tried to get their hooks into her, she would have made different choices.
[ Rose sighs, trying to push those thoughts back into their box. ]
Doesn't really matter now. There's no going back.
no subject
[There's a knowing look in his eye. As the younger brother, Dean had always thought that he needed to protect, and then save, Sam.
And look at all the things he'd done.]
They get their hooks in when you're at your lowest, from my experience. [Which is only with one person, but still...] They make you feel...special. Like they're the only person in the world who gets you.
It's hard to drag yourself away from that.
