WHO || The Knights [ota!]
WHAT || The Knights prepare to depart for America
WHERE || The castle, London
WHEN || Directly after this is announced, Fall 2017
HOW || Actionspam
The acting Heads of the Knighthood - Hasmed and Solace - have made a decision that is not easy for many. Given the terrible state of everything happening in America, they've decided to relocate operations entirely to the States, and have secured a facility near Las Vegas. It is certainly possible, with the grim missions that lie before them, that many, or all, of the Knights may never return. Reactions to the announcement are certain to be strong, but it's time to choose what they will bring with them to their new life - and for some, to decide if it's a journey they can bring themselves to take.
[ This is the social log for anything before the Knights relocate to Las Vegas ]

Her daughter.
Shes most often found in her corner of the Hoard lab, making sure her research is in order and ready to move. She'll have digital files, of course, but she plans on bringing paper files as well- at least for the most important research.]

As well as can be expected. Even those of us who are particularly meticulous in our filing are in a bit of a panic, I think. The idea of leaving anything behind and needing it later can be a bit overwhelming.
How about the Tongue? I presume we'll need as many diplomatic contacts as we can muster in the coming days.

I keep a digital record of everything, but I grew up taking my own notes by hand. Some habits are hard to break. I think there are benefits of keeping important records in both formats. For every firewall we build to keep out hackers, there are just as many viruses built to specifically break them down. But fewer and fewer people think to even entertain the idea of physical record.
Who knows- maybe our outdated methods will be the key to some breakthrough as we move forward.

Let's hope it won't come to that. I'm not ready to become nothing but a memory, just yet.

Have you spent much time in America? Obviously, the political climate these days doesn't make it the friendliest of places. But parts of it are quite beautiful.

She still acted grumpy, though. It was the principal of the thing. Surely trying to take down Mafia bosses in Chicago was a worthwhile adventure? No?
This whole Vegas thing is big. Really big. And she can't just not talk to her Mom about it even if she's being super stubborn about trying to patch things up.
She heads into the Hoard wing, finds her Mom packing up. That answers her first question, anyway.]
Hey.

She glances up immediately at the sound of her daughter's voice, placing a stack of papers down on her desk.]
Ashley. [The single word can't really convey all the emotions that swirl around inside of her. Surprise. Relief. Anxiety. Somehow they all combine into this knot in her throat.]
I trust you've heard the news by now.

She tries not to pay too much attention. It's easier to talk business.]
Kind of impossible not to. It's all anyone's talking about. [She gestures vaguely toward the state of the room.] Getting the jump on packing?

In this particular instance, it's a pizza for himself and a pizza for whoever else might be in needs of a food break.
He sits with his own fave: pepperoni, olives and jalapenos, and leaves the regular pie for whoever might want a slice.]
Pizza, Sir Magnus?
