The acting Heads of the Knighthood - Hasmed and Solace - have made a decision that is not easy for many.  Given the terrible state of everything happening in America, they've decided to relocate operations entirely to the States, and have secured a facility near Las Vegas.  It is certainly possible, with the grim missions that lie before them, that many, or all, of the Knights may never return.  Reactions to the announcement are certain to be strong, but it's time to choose what they will bring with them to their new life - and for some, to decide if it's a journey they can bring themselves to take.

[ dovan does an effective double-take, needing a moment to look past the hair really ] ... Sir Charming? Is that you?

I wasn't sure you'd recognize me. [He ducks his gaze, chuckling softly.] I was told the curse on Amara was broken, so I was allowed to return.

[ironsides]

I'd heard you were on yer way back, but didn't know ye'd made it already. It's good to see ye again. [ he'll step forward to extend a hand to do one of those manly clasp shakes ]

[Charming grabs Dovan's wrist because that's the manliest of shakes. He's also possibly trying to prove himself and gripping a little too hard (str 20 total). Not that he could really hurt the dwarf, but geez that's unnecessary.]

It's good to see you as well. I was hoping to jump back in- help out where I can.

[ironsides]

[ well, dovan meets his grip evenly so there's ... that?? ] We could use all the help we can get these days. How's Mikhail?

[uncease]

He's good. Got a lot on his plate, but he's handling it. [There's a fondness that's easy to spot when Mikhail is mentioned.] Did you know him well before he left?

[ironsides]

I did. He was a good man and I was sorry to lose him. But he was sure he was the place for him.

[uncease]

Part of me will never understand why he made his choice, but it's hard to deny how much the place needs him. I don't know if I would have survived without his friendship.

[ironsides]

He seems singularly cut out for the job, and someone very unique has to be the one to take it. I'm glad ye found a friend there, though.
