The acting Heads of the Knighthood - Hasmed and Solace - have made a decision that is not easy for many.  Given the terrible state of everything happening in America, they've decided to relocate operations entirely to the States, and have secured a facility near Las Vegas.  It is certainly possible, with the grim missions that lie before them, that many, or all, of the Knights may never return.  Reactions to the announcement are certain to be strong, but it's time to choose what they will bring with them to their new life - and for some, to decide if it's a journey they can bring themselves to take.

[The sound of his name draws his attention. David turns to face the source, but... there's no recognition. He looks back to Emma, confused. He can only assume this is someone from their shared past.]

...I think you're right. [He reaches down to gather his bag again, slinging it over his shoulder and gesturing for someone else to lead the way. He hasn't been in this place in years. He doesn't know where to go that's private.]

[Emma's voice breaks her out of a daze, and she turns her gaze between the two of them, belatedly nodding as she absorbs their words.]

Yes. That's a good idea.

[She simply...starts to walk. Maybe on the way she'll figure out where she's going, or one of them will steer her in a good direction.]

[uncease]

[Honestly, David doesn't really remember where anything is. But he assumes that so long as they aren't just standing in the entry hall, it'll be a step up. He grabs the nearest door that doesn't seem like it's a personal bedroom and leads them into...

The dining hall.

Well, at least it's empty- since it's not a mealtime and everyone is busy packing and whatnot.]

[uncurse]

[ Emma heads in at the back of the pack, ushering her parents in and pulling the door shut behind them. It's a strangely parental gesture for an adult child to do for her parents, but, well. It's Emma's way. She likes to be the one taking care of everything. ]

So you heard about Amara.

[The mention of Amara is just going to be Snow's cue to sit because...

...well, you know. It's like bringing up the woman your husband had an affair with, lack of memory or no.

Also that whole curse thing. Yikes.]

[David's gaze drops at the mention of Amara, nodding before looking at first Snow and then Emma to answer her question.]

I did. I don't know how you did it, but... thank you. It doesn't excuse what I did, but I'm just glad she's free of it.
