[ Kenzi had threatened Paige with a ladies night and of course, if anyone needed a night out it was Bo. The fact that there's also a talking Tree, a drinking Raccoon and... Drax? It's Kenzi. Why is anyone shocked by the people that she spends time with? She has ideas and they spin out of control and you just sort of hang on for the ride. It's her way. She may have casually mentioned they were coming here to a few other people, so if you happen to show up as well? The more the merrier.

The location itself isn't exactly filled with the garish glitz and glamor that a person generally associates with Vegas. Pandora has a British Pub meets modern day speakeasy feel to it. It's known for its signature cocktails with names like Panty Dropper and the Hot Little Mess and you can always count on live entertainment in the form of dancers, magicians, a band and of course, a DJ. It also happens to be one of the few clubs that has an open door policy where Shadowkind are concerned. Whether they'll be rethinking said policy after tonight? We just don't know. ]

[ That quiet time Cora was hoping to get by going outside? It's really only going to last as long as it takes Kenzi to stick her head out the door - clearly looking for something, or someone and managing to appear only mildly surprised to see a face she recognizes standing there. ]

[ he shrugs and let his gaze wander to enjoy the view a little more as his head tips to the side ] I mean. Not unless you want me to be. [ One day. Kenzi will roll above a 3 for her Will Saves when Peter is flirting with her. Just. Not today.

The smile she was so reluctant to give now fights its way across her face, Kenzi dipping her head as if she can keep him from seeing the idiotic grin that the whole bar is likely amused by. ]

Oh my god - you're the worst. [ Try not to sound like you enjoy it Kenzi and maybe he will st- Oh who are we kidding? ]

[ What it means is that she would really like to stop grinning like an idiot teenager with a crush but she can't because I rolled another 3. Stop. Just stop.

She manages to pull together some semblance of composure - just barely - and cocks her head to one side, taking him in and giving herself every opportunity to stop this here and now. ]

[Stiles is nearby and scrambles up from his chair to do some damage control when Drax has his sudden outburst. Snatching the raincoat from the floor, he holds it up over the extremely large torso of his very muscular man and chuckles nervously.]

Whoa, buddy. Let's just have a seat, alright? [diplomacy 44] And maybe some water! [He calls that part over his shoulder as he tries to wrangle Drax.

[Stiles wanders outside at some point in the night. He's not actively looking for Cora, but he has been keeping an eye out for her to try to catch a moment alone. Spotting her, he heads over to stand next to her, bumping her shoulder with his.]

[He gives her a curious look, but takes the shot glass and decides to move on... for now. He's storing that comment away to maybe bring back up later.]

To new beginnings. [At least he assumes she's new, if she's still getting used to Vegas. He's been here around a month and has mostly acclimated. Raising his shot glass to her, he tips it back and winces at the bite of it.]

I'm guessing some of these other new faces are friends of yours? [He may or may not be mostly referring to the ones that stand out. Like... idk the giant tree man. Or the walking, talking raccoon.] Either that or they've really stepped up their advertisement game for this place.

Technically, our employer's buying. [ he's going to just slam down that knights credit card and call for another two drinks as he swings back in his seat to face the bar beside her. also... grinning. ]

[Rocket is simultaneously embarrassed to know Groot and also worried for him, so when he comes back to the bar, he shows that concern as Rocket-y as he can.]

Buddy, I know it's real hard for you to blend into a crowd, but we gotta keep this low-key. You dig?

[Rocket just wanted a night out where he could drink and hopefully not attract undue attention, and now Drax is ruining it.

So naturally, still sober because he's realized he can't afford to be the drunk friend, he runs up to Drax, scales his muscle-y and scar tissue-covered bod and slaps his bald head repeatedly.]

Dude?! Seriously? Do you remember the last time you did that. People almost died. You almost died! Why are you an idiot?

[Rocket's response is too tighten his overlarge hoodie a little more around his ears. From a distance, he looks like an extremely fashion unconscious gnome.

If this were his Quill, he'd get the concern immediately, but it's not so he's mildly affronted, because why would this Quill showcase any concern for him? They haven't had their whole "trial by Kyln" thing together. However, there's enough hope in him to try and suss out the meaning there. (sense motive 13). He's like... half-assing it, apparently.]

[ The thing is... having conversations with Peter when she's not mocking him and he's not actively flirting? It's not really something she knows how to do. Theirs was a relationship strongly built on the foundation of her ego checking him most of the time.

[ A warmth touches her eyes at seeing that smile, a secret one of her own tugging at the corner of her mouth and while she thinks it looks like she's merely been stomping through that conversation... the viewers at home might at least recognize the intent behind everything she'd said.
