[ Kenzi had threatened Paige with a ladies night and of course, if anyone needed a night out it was Bo. The fact that there's also a talking Tree, a drinking Raccoon and... Drax? It's Kenzi. Why is anyone shocked by the people that she spends time with? She has ideas and they spin out of control and you just sort of hang on for the ride. It's her way. She may have casually mentioned they were coming here to a few other people, so if you happen to show up as well? The more the merrier.

The location itself isn't exactly filled with the garish glitz and glamor that a person generally associates with Vegas. Pandora has a British Pub meets modern day speakeasy feel to it. It's known for its signature cocktails with names like Panty Dropper and the Hot Little Mess and you can always count on live entertainment in the form of dancers, magicians, a band and of course, a DJ. It also happens to be one of the few clubs that has an open door policy where Shadowkind are concerned. Whether they'll be rethinking said policy after tonight? We just don't know. ]

[ Oh good. A story that will inevitably make her look like a fuck up. She considers lying but at this point? She's just going to embrace the fact that she is one. ]

Oh ya know. It wasn't that bad. Except, every woman alive totally hated him. Which, for the record? Would have been hilarious if they hadn't started to embrace lethal intent.

If you must know, it ended up with me almost getting eaten. [ A beat. ] And not in a good way.

[ She's really just bracing for the mockery at this point because she knows okay. She is a royal fuck up. It would probably end up on her headstone some day. ]

You'd be surprised how often that actually happens. [ To her. Specifically. ] But yes.

[ And it doesn't escape her notice that he's not just, content with her making a one or two line joke but actually seems to want to know the story?? She's just not sure if that's because he's trying to calculate how quickly he should extricate himself from being in close proximity to her or not.]

[ She looks... borderline horrified at his first guess and she knows why he made it... it's just that this is the first time she actually made that connection. ]

Oh my god I'm a real life Gretal. [ Because. ] Look it was that or Kenzi Stew.

[ Because yes, Peter. Yes she actually did shove her in an oven. ]

Oh my God, you actually did it. [ he sounds delighted to be honest. this is the best story now. even if it involved you almost getting eaten. (unsure) ] Did she have a gingerbread house? I would have eaten the shit out of that.

[ It's hard to take her seriously right now when she's not even successfully masking her own laughter.

She looks at him then, her smile resting easily on her lips as her eyes rake over his features, Kenzi trying to ignore that little wave of giddiness that wiggles inside her. ]

[ the little bit of contact, even aggressive as it is, makes his grin widen a bit and he takes another drink since she can't shove him pretty far (pratt got them muscles tho) ]

[ And she... isn't much better than he is, as she glances in his direction and adds. ]

[ his eyebrows loft a bit at the comment, and he turns to look at her with an expression that's almost comical as he clearly takes a second to decide whether she really just-- yes she did. his jaw ticks a bit to the side with an amused and highly intrigued look creeping over his features as his eyes lock on hers, his thoughts clearly wandering to some really unspeakable places. ] I mean... [ give him a sec to recover ]

It's funny you should mention that [ he shifts back a bit, trying to do a super casual lean as he sets his drink down ] because one of the great things I hear about Vegas? Are their really swanky hotels. [ at least he did not use the phrase 'all you can eat buffet'. he was probably tempted. ] Saw it on a brochure.

[ It really says a lot about Kenzi that she… legitimately just Crit Failed her Wisdom Check.

It probably says even more that while Peter might have only just been tempted with the buffet jokes… ]

[ Oh. Ohhhh. Now she might need a moment as she looks at him, her body swaying ever so slightly as she allows that image to really build in her mind. ]

Both is good. [ Her Will Saves are just broken where he is concerned its very unfair. ] That's... generally my motto.

[ Sweet, mother of God his ability to turn her into a wobbly mess of desire could be weaponized and make him a millionaire. She would honestly like, nothing more right now than to end this night exactly the way that he’s proposing and yet it’s the mere mention of cutting her night short that has her groaning, and not for lack of patience. ]

Ohhh… I can’t believe I’m going to say this. [ Audible despite saying it under her breath. ] I can’t. Not tonight.

[ Does it matter that there’s some glimmer of regret in her eyes? ]

... Too bad, really. Here I had some creative ideas that could have made damn good use of a roommate-free zone. [ no one ever said he wasn't going to be a total tease about it, at least ]

[ She’s not entirely sure if it would have been better if she hadn’t believed he was truly disappointed. She can’t say, because with that 48 Sense Motive? He’s making it harder for her to keep whatever this is at arm’s length, especially when his melodramatic response has her wanting to drag him off into a corner.

Maybe Peter can praise the tequila as she leans in closer now, her fingers brushing along the outside of his leg as she lowers her voice to a level that's clearly meant only for him to hear. ]
