Rescuing Rafael could have gone much worse... And then did, when Rafael, desperate to feel alive and free again, got himself into a car accident. He came out of it alright, but injured, and they headed back on a plane after a whirlwind wedding had happened the same night between Dean and Rose, which Elena and the fiendish version of Sam had dropped in on - as well as Bobby Singer. After the madness of that night, Jack sent word back to them that if they had any family that they wished to keep safe, they could bring them back to Krozna. Rafael and Isabella insisted on picking up Giorgio, Nellethiel, and their children, Giulia and Pietro. Alainn picked up quite a bit of family as well - her adoptive parents and siblings from Ireland.   They return to Krozna together, where everyone can get acquainted and recover from the ordeal of their close calls in New Orleans before pressing forward.   There would be months for them to train, and the pace of life in Krozna to settle in, far from the chaos of the rest of the world.  

The date is now quickly approaching for the upcoming meeting at the "Darkhouse" where they hope to acquire more leads about the dagger that was used by Blade in the ritual to kill his father, Malaak'a.  

This log covers all social things for Failboat between the first social log and the Darkhouse (months worth of time skip).

[Early in the morning on Lucia's birthday, the day before Felicity's, she slips in to Vi and Lucia's room, with a stuffed kitten tucked under one arm, glitter bow tied around it's neck. She makes her way over and nudges the sleeping girl gently with a smile.]

Hey, birthday buddy. I got something for you.

[ lucia sits up immediately, albeit slightly disoriented because she's still half asleep, elbowing vi in the stomach in her haste. zia lissie is here! ]

Birthday! It's my birthday!

[ why are children so loud. ]

[She laughs, and it's Lu's birthday. She's allowed to be as loud as she wants, sorry Mom.]

I brought you a new friend.

[She holds up the kitten for the little girl to take.]

[ A KITTEN FRIEND WHEN MOMMA SAYS SHE CANT HAVE A REAL KITTEN FRIEND! SHE HAS BEEN BLESSED THIS DAY. lucia hugged the stuffed animal to her chest and smooths her orange fingers over its little pink nose, reverent, as vi sits up on one elbow. ]

Does she have a name already?

I was going to leave that up to the birthday girl. I figured she would be better at it than I was.

[Otherwise it would get a terrible, ridiculous name.]

[ lucia pets the uni-kitty (she's already excited but imagine her excitement if she'd seen the lego movie 2) and screws up her face thoughtfully. names are very important, momma had taught her that. she's not allowed to say certain names. uni-kitty needs a name that is special but not secret. ]

What about sunshine? Or rainbow? Or... Iris. She's the goddess of rainbows.

I think Sky is an excellent name. It suits her perfectly.

[And it's her uni-kitty, she can name it whatever she wants.]

[ "I love her." lucia clambers off the bed to go to her dollhouse and introduce sky to the rest of her dolls, vi is pretty sure one of those dolls is going to ride unikitty. ]

Auntie success, as always. [ vi scoots back to make room for felicity on the bed now that lu has vacated. ] I can't believe she's three.

Neither can I.

[She's getting so big, and even though she's been right there, she can't imagine how it happened so fast.]

She's growing up so fast.

It constantly weirds me out. Hopefully I continue to be everyone's cautionary tale.

[ vi loves her daughter more than anything in the world, but that doesn't mean she wants her growing up in this shit world without her father. ]

The tale of having an adorable child when you're dealing with gods and assholes?

Yeah. And maybe that they should use condoms.

[ she appreciates felicity always having her back though. ]

[She smirks before nodding.]

Yeah, that's probably a good idea too. Wouldn't want to get too ahead of all the celebratory accidents.

[Because that tends to be the waves with stuff like this. Dangerous life altering disaster? Better get on that reproducing.]

No more wedding night babies. Sometimes I think Gar and Jack have the right idea, but then again I wouldn't change it for the world.

[ she had one whole day of married bliss, twenty four whole hours. she wouldn't let that go for anything. ]

Sometimes the decisions that make the least sense are the best ones.

[Felicity's definitely made her fair share of questionable decisions. And she doesn't regret many of them.]

Sometimes you just have to ... lean in to where the world is trying to take you.

[ luthir was (and is) everything to vi, but she's also go lucia who is somehow more. even if she can't summon the energy to do this shit for herself, she has that. ]

Yeah. As long as we don't die before Jack and Gar's wedding I think we'll have done okay.

So far we're on track. Fingers crossed we stay that way.
