The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

mr. seventies hair and his old leather coat have set up camp at one of the tables outlying the room, where he sits with his feet propped up on one of the other chairs, as if to say 'don't sit by me'. he's nursing a beer and a cigarette, though it's unclear where he found... a pint. ]

[About that dressing up thing?

Yeah, no. Jo's not doing it. She had played around with a few black dresses upstairs and none of them made her feel comfortable or like herself, so she rushed to find her personal belongings and grab some of those. So when Jo shows up to the party, it's in jeans and a black tank top. Boots top the outfit off and make her look oh-so dainty and feminine.

She lingers against a wall for a short amount of time, casually watching the crowd and trying to figure out who she'd get along with best. If you don't catch her there, she spends her night moving around the room and talking to whoever's willing to listen. She's definitely not a social butterfly, but it's easy enough to fake when running on an ego high thanks to getting a ceremony and party all about her and only her.

At one point later in the night, however, she gets tired of being outgoing and finds a nice dark corner to retreat and hide in. She's easiest to stalk and corner there, although she'll be a bit snappier to anyone who dares to disturb her quiet reflection time. Somewhere along the way she's picked up a bottle of beer and she enjoys slowly nursing it in her own personal space.

Yep, drinking beer and wearing jeans to a black tie party. She's the classiest lady of them all.]

[Deadpool is so classy tonight. Except he doesn't have the machine gun. But he does have the mask and gloves!

He's attempting to eat refreshments. It'd work a lot better without the mask. But he keeps trying!

So add some stains to that nice white tux.]

[Faye's dress is a lot like the one she wore to her party, except probably more eye catching. Because this isn't her party, but she'll be damned if she goes unnoticed. She's just going to slowly walk through the room, judging everyone.]
