[Faye can't remember much about her life, but planes are nothing new. She's been shopping, so she's not without her own collection of entertaining technology... which means she can ignore you that much easier.

But don't let that stop you.]

[Scout spends a chunk of the flight time in the cockpit, studying the controls and matching them against the ones she's studied, watching any pilot work with as much focus as she can muster. ...Which is a lot, even if she looks at her phone and enters stuff into it regularly.]

[Otherwise she's inclined to consulting her phone notes, doing restless stretching exercises, or meditating with her back against a wall, her hands together in loose fists with the knuckles touching, controlling her anxiety about this whole thing.]

[Andie hatehatehates airplane rides. Too damn slow. But she's managing by getting really involved in a movie. Which is also too damn slow, but at least it's an action flick so there's a lot happening at any given time. She's watching it at x2 speed because that's the fastest she can make it go without the words going away.]

What's wrong with the TV?

Huh? [Andie pauses and looks up, popping one earbud out.] What do you mean what's wrong?

[ she points to the screen ] Someone's sitting on the fast forward button.

Oh, it's just easier for me to watch that way.

Your mind actually processes things faster?

I everything faster. So yeah.

He's been here the whole time, really...

[Riddick enters the body of the plane about 4 hours after take off, casually walking towards the back row of seats. He doesn't offer an explanation as to where he had been or what he has been up to the past 4 hours, just takes his seat and casually leans back to enjoy the rest of the flight.

His goggles make it impossible to determine whether or not he is sleeping or actively watching any of the other interactions happening on the flight, nor does he really seem to care.]

[ nessa looks across the aisle at him, arching a brow. she observes him silently for a good five minutes before saying: ]

It must be a nice way to keep people out.

[He'd felt her eyes on him and had been waiting for her to ask what he had been doing. Her statement wasn't exactly what he had been expecting though it was one of the more frequently questioned things about him. Too bad it was hard to make welding goggles look more inconspicuous.]

"Hmm," [is the rumbled response she gets in return, his acknowledgement that her assumption was correct.]

That stuff is shit. It's all just noise and people whining about themselves. Don't really much care to listen to it. [He recalls the conversation they had at the squiring ball months ago, curiosity getting the better of him once more.] What about you? Wouldn't headphones come in handy for you?

[It's not long before Andie flits over to hang out, plopping down in a seat next to him.]

Look at us, full-blown knights on a mission.

[Really he'd been waiting for this. Thankfully it wasn't the whole lot of them all talking over each other at once. And at least he knew Andie, even kind of liked her though she was incessantly chipper. He laces his fingers behind his head, glancing over at her.]

Totally. This is why I signed up for this whole knight thing! [She bounces excitedly in place.] I mean it's not that different from being a squire, but still cool!

[He couldn't help but let loose a tiny chuckle. Ever since their little April fools escapade she had, surprisingly, become one of the few people who's company he didn't totally mind. She was still far too perky for his taste but he was kind of getting used to it.]

"Cool," hmm? Guess that's one way of putting it.

[She shrugs, looking a little embarrassed about how enthused she is. But only a little.]

It's pretty cool doing something I love.

Yeah, I guess so [he mutters this, looking back out the window a second. Her enthusiasm was something that was a big part of her personality, something he guessed she would never be rid of, but he had seen other sides of her as well, brief though they were. Too bad he wasn't the type to pry.]
