Parked out on the curb outside one of many buildings lining the downtown area, Lis'sa glances out the tinted window, surveying the scene, before looking back at the others. She's all glammed up in an elegant kimono-inspired red dress with her hair accentuated with two carved sticks. She turns back to examine the other women in the back of the car as well, as Eric keeps an eye out in the rearview mirror from where he sits drumming on the steering wheel.

"Are we ready?"

Right-o. [Alainn reaches over the seat to touch the girl on her arm lightly, trying not to startle her.] Hey sweetie, you're okay, you're safe now.

[behindcloseddoors]

[ the girl jerks a bit, before yanking hair out of her eyes, shaking her head. ] They're eating people.

[a scowl crosses her features as she nods, glancing at lis'sa.] Aye, apparently they are.

[behindcloseddoors]

[ the girl shakes her head violently ] Someone has to stop them.

[attollores]

That's what we're here for, darlin'. [grim determination paints her features]

[lissatrinall]

This is much bigger than we initially realized. [ she addresses alainn and eric, rather than the girl ] But at least we know what to alert the authorities to, so that they can help clean this up.

[attollores]

What about contacting HQ for back-up? [she turns to the girl, struck with a thought]

Were there others with you? Any other prisoners?

[behindcloseddoors]

I... I didn't see anybody.

Who are you people?

[attollores]

We're an organization that helps with situations like this, when the police don't know where else to turn.

We'll find a way to stop this.

You have our word on it. [ he looks at alainn in the rearview mirror, and the determination in his eyes is also mixed with a question: can they really shut something so big down? ]

[attollores]

[she meets his gaze grimly, but with determination, turning back to the girl and putting a gentle hand on her shoulder.]

Aye, we will do everything in our power to put an end to this. In the meantime we need you to come with us so we can find out what you know. We'll keep you safe. [diplomacy 17?]

[lissatrinall]

[ the girl blinks, but then nods a few times, staring down at her lap. lis'sa watches her for a moment, and then turns forward again ] No one's going to hurt you now.

[ annnnd i feel like we can call this... the end???? a million years later. they'd report all this to the police etc, and it'd be largely in local authorities hands from that point out, at least, what with the overwhelming evidence they'd find here.... ]
