Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

Myri's invitees are given seats of honor at the front of the ranks of the Dragon's Light members - a comparatively small sect, and Kat, Wynn, and the incredibly stoic Sir Solace, section head of the Light, wait up at the front of the room for Myri to approach them, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

"Approach and kneel, Sir Myrilandel."

[She steals a glance across the room to wherever Finnick is, then looks back at Buffy with a slight blush creeping on her cheeks.]

No, it's... it's not that. I just... [She looks around and drops her voice.]

I've never been asked to dinner by a man before.

Before I came here, I rarely stayed in one village for more than a few weeks. And there is a stigma with my work.

There were boys who would wish to bed me, to say they could overpower me, despite my magic. But I never met one who simply wanted to spend time with me or talk with me as Finnick does.

[slay]

Myri, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to -- I guess I didn't really think about it. [ about the fact that someone might actually remember before. ]

[witchwoman]

It's fine. [She smiles softly] Really. I'm just nervous. What if I say something or do something wrong?

Hey. He already asked you out. Which means he likes you exactly how you are. The only way you can do something wrong is by worrying enough to change whatever it is you've been doing. Just relax.

[witchwoman]

You tell me to do that a lot. Relax. [She laughs] You'd think I'd be better at actually doing it by now.

[slay]

Eh, it's a practiced art. [ she smiles understandingly. ] You'll get there.
