[This log is for any in-flight interactions on the Knight's private plane ride to the mission site. Feel free to make your own threads/threadjack, etc. The flight time is approx nine hours. Get to know your teammates, talk about the mission, ask questions, etc. etc.

Rafael will be meeting the Knight at the New Orlean airport, and Des is welcome to reconnoiter with the Knights back at the hotel!  Feel free to do threads for grabbing rooming buddies, etc. ] ]

[It's totally subtle, cause Spike's such a subtle guy. No one can ever read his poker face. Seriously.]

Yeah. Spike. I'm friends with Buffy. [Buffy told Spike about Rafael's starcrossed heartbreak thing. Spike probably should be more sympathetic and less jealous but it would be easier if Buffy wasn't clearly SO enthusiastic about Rafael's life.]

I had not realized there would be so many of you.

Rafael! [ much happier and more welcoming than spike is buffy, hurrying up to him and giving him a hug because it's been months and she feels that they've reached this point in their knowing each other. she unceremoniously drops her bags to do it, even, and then turns around to smile at spike and the others. ]

Rafael, these are the other Knights. Spike, Finnick -- You already met Kat, Gar and Myri. That one over there's Mark, then there's Dumage, [ please don't recognize her from the café, ] annnnd Thomas, our new team leader. [ done rattling off names with only vague gestures in the direction of who they belong to, she turns to smile at rafael. ]

[ and up strides thomas, looking so unofficial in his beat up leather jacket and dusty boots, but he offers a hand nevertheless ] The illustrious signore Giovanni, is it? [ he gives raf a vigorous handshake and says in a lower voice ] I hear you have some interesting hobbies for an opera singer.

[romanticidal]

[ the look rafael shoots him is uncertain, and it's clear that he's not so comfortable with the whole world knowing all about his extracurriculars... but he returns buffy's hug and seems to take comfort in her presence there, as well as gar and kat. gratefully, perhaps, his eyes pass right over dumage with no hint of recognition. ]

... It is a pleasure, certainly, to meet you all.

Guess we'll be seeing a lot of you, huh? [Spike sure doesn't look too happy about the idea.]

That's the idea. [ buffy, on the other hand, looks pleased. broooo. ]

In my experience, "in case" things usually end up happening.

So if the bad guys come tracking them down, Isabella will just death stare them away. Sounds like a helluva plan to me.
