[This log is for any in-flight interactions on the Knight's private plane ride to the mission site. Feel free to make your own threads/threadjack, etc. The flight time is approx nine hours. Get to know your teammates, talk about the mission, ask questions, etc. etc.

Rafael will be meeting the Knight at the New Orlean airport, and Des is welcome to reconnoiter with the Knights back at the hotel!  Feel free to do threads for grabbing rooming buddies, etc. ] ]

[finnick has been kicking back and watching the chaos unfold tbh. he has mixed feelings about myri being arm candy because he wants to protect her and is really :$ about people seeing her with him while he's rockstarchan. but he'd get to see her ........... ]

As much as I'd like to be all places at once, I can only be one. I'm still not familiar with many of the buildings we'll be entering and would hate to jeopardize the exploration of these vents.

I'm not certain what I would need to do to be... candy, but I am sure that I will be successful.

Besides, no matter the task, there is a chance of failure, but we are all aiming to obtain information, are we not? Surely we will have plenty of opportunity for such things with so many of us inside.

Myri's all knighted now. She'll be fine. [ it's said in dismissal of spike, but she does shoot finnick one of those motherly looks of YOU'D BETTER TAKE CARE OF MY BABY before her gaze, softer, turns on kat and rafael. ] Did promise we'd work together again, didn't I?

I'll go with Finnick. Buffy and Kat with Rafael. I imagine Sir Thomas and Mark might join Spike?

That leaves Gar and... Dumage. [She tries her best not to wince when she says it.]

[This is not how Spike wanted the team break-ups to go. But all the arguments against make him sound like a jealous caveman, so he just leans back in his chair and looks generally annoyed.]

All settled then. Finnick, Myri, and Dumage will be attempting to work their way into populated areas of the building where they can eavesdrop or work information out of people. Buffy, Kat, and Gar will take Rafael in hopes of arranging a meeting with Chad Becksworth, under the guise of getting him signed under him for the Nova label, but ostensibly to scope out Chad in person, and try to get a glimpse of his main squeeze. Myself, Spike, and Mark will take to the ducts, to try and find access to areas of the building that have been limited to us, or to spy on private conversations.

Any tips on how to resist punching this skeezebag in the face? 'Cause I could use those. [ beat. she glances around. ] ... Kidding. [ mostly. ] So, when do we start? Tomorrow? Bright and early Monday morning?

I doubt Becksworth will be holding office hours during the weekend, so Monday it is. And, as I'd suggested before, it would do those who haven't set foot in the building previously well to disguise themselves, whatever role they're fulfilling. Except for Rafael, of course.

Disguises. Bloody perfect. [That probably means not wearing the coat. And hiding his very distinctive hair. And then there are the cheekbones.] But if we're sneaking around the ducts they're not gonna see us, right? And even if they do, they'll already know we're up to no good. [No one innocently sneaks around air ducts.]

That doesn't necessarily mean they have to connect us with the people who were looking for Jade.
