The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[Faye is quite light on her feet (Dex 17). She twirls under his arm, coming back gracefully into the step.]

A gentleman... a Knight... a man with a hook for a hand.

I call that one hell of a man.

[He pulls her against him as she finishes the spin, grinning, in a decidedly un-gentlemanly way.] And if you add pirate to the mix?

Really? Hmmm... now that does make things interesting. [She matches his grin with her own wicked expression.] Should I be worried you'll make me walk the plank?

[He continues to move, holding her close.] Could be. But I can think of decidedly more interesting things to do with my plank than walking it.

[She doesn't seem to mind his invasion of her personal bubble. In fact, she drags her teeth over her bottom lip while purring an approving noise barely audible over the music.]

Well... let's just say that I'm very interested in trying new things.

Suppose I qualify as new, do I? [He spins her out and back in towards him, then dips her.] I can live with that.

[She moves with him, letting him push and pull her around the dance floor. When he dips her, she lets out a coy little laugh.] I bet you can. [She glances out of the corner of her eyes, then focuses on him, her tone dropping to something more serious and quiet.]

Do you want to get out of here?

[He casts a glance past her, at Emma, who is probably trying very hard not to notice what he's doing. Then he looks back at Faye with a grin.]

Yeah. All right.

[Like Emma cares what he does. He might as well enjoy himself.]

[She catches that look (spot 16) but chooses to ignore it. So what if he's concerned about someone else before deciding to go with her? She's got no issue stepping on someone's territory. Plus, he's brand new and there's no way someone called dibs on the pirate already.

With a triumphant little smile, she loops one finger around the curve of his hook and twists herself around to rest his wrist on her shoulder, leading him out of the hall.]

[YOU DON'T GET TO CALL DIBS HE DOES WHO HE WANTS and... he follows her eagerly enough, then stops her as soon as they're out of sight. There's always the chance he's misreading her intentions, of course, and the fastest way to find out is to kiss her.]

[Faye spins around when he stops her.]

Something wrong? Don't tell me you've changed your mind.

[He pauses to scoff because of course he hasn't. Then he presses her against the wall and kisses her hard.]

[She doesn't mind that course of action at all. Her hands instinctively move to his neck, holding onto him and making it more than obvious that she doesn't plan to just be a passive part of this. She also tries to assert her power in the situation by nipping at his bottom lip- not hard enough to draw blood by any means, but just a little reminder of who had this bright idea.]

[He certainly doesn't mind. He slips his hands down to her ass, pulling her hips against his, and only then does he break the kiss.] How close is your room?

[Faye groans against his mouth as he pulls her body closer to his. She arches, grinding herself against him for just a moment.

She's shameless, truly.]

Not close enough. [Which could mean that they may end up in someone else's if she gets impatient on the way.]

Better get going. [Whatever, he's not picky. He kisses her again as he pulls her away from the wall, heading towards the squire bedroom area.]

I'm not even kidding. I random rolled again and got emma's room......

[She's not opposed to letting him lead the way, but only because he's doing exactly what she has in mind anyway. Once they reach the squire's halls, she grabs a doorknob at random and throws it open. The room inside looks nice and more than that... it's empty.]

[It's a pretty room. Hook sure doesn't recognize it. Maybe Emma should have brought him here earlier to avoid these awkward situations. He presses the door closed and kisses her against it.]

Nice place. Bit sweeter than I'd expect from you.

It's not mine. [She says before attacking his mouth more hungrily, hands grabbing at his clothes to pull him tighter against her.]

[Makes sense. He doesn't really care. He slips his hand up under her shirt and taking ample time to explore her skin on the way.]

[She hums her approval as his hand brushes against her back. She has to admit that dragging him into a stranger's room adds something to the experience. Perhaps that's why she becomes more insistent, her hands tugging at his clothing already.]

[SO HEY SOME SEX ROLLS TIME (str 20, dex 8, con 16, wis 19, cha 14). Too bad he's a little drunk so that's probably why he's also a little clumsy. Luckily it doesn't seem to affect his endurance, any, as she might notice from the way his prick presses into her as he pulls her against him. He lets her help him with his clothing. After all, it's a bit tricky with one hand. At least hers are a bit easier.]

[Sexy rolls: Str 12, Dex 14, Con 20, Wis 20, Cha 22... I'm just saying, this girl's got it goin' on. She chuckles at his fumbling, but doesn't say a word about it. He's one-handed and she's used to high school boys, so it's not like she's not used to leading someone along to get her bra off before. She makes decent work of his shirt, slipping it off of him and throwing it off to the side. As she reaches down to help him with his pants, she lets her hand first slide down, pressing her palm against his hardness and giving him an approving little smile. She drags her hand up, using her palm and fingers to rub the length of him before returning to her task of removing his pants so that she might have easier access to that particularly interesting part of him.]

[Daaaaamn at least he's got her beat in strength. As soon as she's freed his erection he pushes her against the bed, covering his mouth with hers. He fumbles a bit with the bra clasp. He unzips her dress and manages to work her bra free easily enough (disable device 17) and pushes it down, pulling away a bit to look at what he's revealed. He smirks.] Lovely.

[She walks backwards, lightly drawing her nails over the skin of his now-exposed torso until she reaches his neck. She pulls him closer, pushing herself against him as his hands work to remove more of her clothing. As the cool air hits her back, she groans against his mouth, stepping back to drop her bra to the side and to step out of her dress. Left only in a skimpy red thong, she doesn't seem even a little self-conscious.]
