ORIENTATION ♔ and climb high to the highest rung
WHO || Mark, Tybalt, open if people want to bang into them, just threadjack wherever.
WHAT || Mark meets with his new squire
WHERE || Knight's HQ, staircase to the second floor
WHEN || Thurs morning, March 7th
HOW || Actionspam
[ Tybalt's assigned Knight has made no attempts since the ceremony to contact him, despite Wynn's assurances to the new squires that their mentors would be in touch. In fact, it's only coming down the marble staircase from the upper story training facilities, that they would even cross paths, as Mark's heading up that way and stops awkwardly, since they're the only two people in sight, and he certainly can't feign not seeing him. He pulls up to a hesitant halt, and breaks out a nervous smile and uncomfortable wave, hand moving swiftly to the back of his neck. ]
Oh, uh, hi. You're uh, you're Tybalt, aren't you?

Some might call it obsessive. He assumed they didn't have as much to prove as he did.
But it's interesting to see Mark's reaction, and really, it's about time he found the knight. How long does a squire have to wait around for his knight to even acknowledge he's around?
He nods his head, glancing off up the stairs before back to Mark. This isn't slightly awkward at all. Nope.]
That would be me. Good Morning, Sir.
[Okay he is definitely going to get in trouble eventually with this. That came out a bit more terse than he had intended. Is it his fault if none of the knights had garnered as much respect from him as Wynn had?]

Forever the slowest turtle
Pleasure finally making your acquaintance, Sir Sandazhard.
[Come on, Ty. You're squired to this man. Show some form of respect. Pull it together.]
Were you requiring me for something?
<33!
best knight-squire pair tbh
He frowns, adjusting his shirt and not meeting Mark's eyes, as if the ground at their feet is far more interesting. After a moment he forces the words forward.]
What am I supposed to be doing, here?
awww yis B)
But when it's not mission time, you can use any of the castle facilities to hone your skills. If you're a fighter, there's training rooms and plenty of pros who can help up your game.

And as far as you and I?
[He arches a brow at Mark, meeting his eyes again this time. He has been making very good use of those ]
Do I report to you? I always assumed squires were supposed to do something for their Knights. [Not that he knows what that is]

But I do have to write up reports about your fieldwork. Sometimes I'll be with you to do it, sometimes I'll pick someone who's on a team with you if I'm not, to give me the scoop on how you did.

[Reports. Input from team members Shit. Well that was going to go well. Tybalt wasn't the best at making friends. Really, what he excelled at most was making enemies. That and picking fights.
He smiled through his teeth all the same, wondering, for the first time, if he was really meant for this job. Granted the code struck a chord with him, and he did want to do the missions. It was just... well... he was sort of a loner. Playing well with others was going to be a new, and probably very frustrating, challenge.]
And these reports... they affect what, exactly?
