First of all, in his invitation to this orientation, Sir Hughes didn't offer any clues as to the location of the Dragon's Hoard Lab, so you're all on your own in finding it. A 13+ Navigate or even a 11+ Gather Information check will send you in the right direction, however, as it's actually pretty simple to locate. However, as the squires begin gathering, itt's starting to look as if Sir Hughes... forgot. When he does finally shows up, twenty minutes later, he's coming down the hall in a pair of sweat pants and a white stained shirt. He mumbles an apology as he pats his pockets down to try and locate his card, before finally discovering it was tucked behind his ear with an "Aha!" He fumbles it through the reader, and the doors labelled "Biohazard" slide open.

He guides them through the bizarre multi-storied library and up the steps, beyond the models suspended from the ceiling that look like space age designs for jet planes, cars, boats, and any number of other things. At the end of the balcony he swipes his card through the reader with a much higher degree of ease and then ushers them all inside.

"Yeah, step right up, let's go," he mutters, making hurrying motions, ~~even if he was the one who ... showed up late~~. The doors depress with a space age his. revealing a clean white laboratory, with rows and rows of tables and lab equipment set up. Numerous knights buzz around in white lab coats, working under microscopes and on computers, conferring over a number of projects.

"This is the lab, where the Hoard does their research, most of you will never have to come in here, and probably for the best, at that" he says, waving a hand vaguely in that direction as he heads for the left hand side of the room. He places his palm on a panel there until the red light blinks green, and then moves into the narrower space there - a long room with rows of labelled cases and cabinets with transparent glass revealing what's inside.

Equipment oriented, sure. You still need a facilities orientation for the training room. Dragon's Hide'll handle that.

Nope.

[And she's about to stomp off like a petulant child, which she is except! She doesn't.] Actually. [She raises a gloved hand.]

Do you have any gloves?

Does this look like a Macy's white sale?

Ew, do I really look like I shop at Macy's? [How dare you.] I just thought, since you guys are all James Bond Go Go Gadget briefcase bomb, you could do something with a pair of gloves.

Reverse psychology is for lesser minds, kid.

If you want gloves laced with nanotech, that's one thing, but just asking for gloves is a little vague.

Worth a shot. What's nanotech?

It's basically machinery constructed at a microscopic level. A molecular level, to be precise.

[Her nose wrinkles slightly. She's better at psychology than physiology, but she can use her brain. And she rolled a 22 Int so she can postulate.]

Does that make it living technology? Or just... really small?

Smaller than your brain can probably wrap itself around. But still technology.

Ooookay. So you could make-- [Yeah, she's got no clue.] You're right, my brain is not wrapping around this.
