[Andie ordered a dozen large pizzas from the closest pizza place and ran them back to the castle so she could feast. It was a lot, even for her metabolism, but hell, she could snack for a while, and this way she could even share if someone cool showed up. Anyway, it was on the knight's budget. Totally legit.

She took it to the TV room and stacked up the pizza boxes on the floor next to her. After devouring one of them, she picked up two of the controllers and started Mario Kart. Playing both at the same time was tricky, even with her attention span, but she didn't do too badly (concentration 12, use computer 15). But she was booooored. After almost thirty seconds of this, she stood up and started zooming through the castle, going from room to room in the squire section and knocking on doors, more or less at random.

When someone answers, she beams and gives a wave.]

Hi! Pizza party? Pizza and video games? Should be awesome!

Yeah. They work, I just don't like them.

[She shakes her head.] I don't like the feeling of being drugged.

What if someone could invent a sleep aid without that sensation?

I would have to buy less concealer.

[Shruuug. So nonchalant, but lbr she's so excited by the idea. Imagine being well rested for once. Lila can remember twice, vividly, but that's it.]

Would I need to... do anything?

[rationalizes]

It might require some study of your brain chemistry. Nothing as invasive as that sounds, however.

[bittersweeter]

I've had brain scans done before. They're pretty common where I come from, it's how they pinpoint workers.

[rationalizes]

Wonderful! So you're already familiar with the process. [ she juts out a hand abruptly ] I haven't even introduced myself yet. My name is Jeanne Gar, and I work with the Dragon's Hoard. Researching the science behind magic is sort of my life's work.

[bittersweeter]

[Okay, so this might be the friendliest person Lila's ever met, but she kind of reminds her of Daneca with her geekiness and gung ho attitude, which is nice. She could see this woman at a worker's rights rally with a perfectly hand lettered sign telling onlookers the science so hard that they acquiesce and give up.

Her life's work, though, isn't that the most adorable thing to come out of anyone's mouth. Ever. She shakes, because she's polite. I know, contrary to popular belief, it's true.] Lila Zacharov, squired to Eric, so I work with him, I guess. Nice to meet you.

[rationalizes]

It's wonderful to meet you, Lila. [ she looks positively glowing with excitement over all of this, tbh ] If you'd like, I can actually get the lab set up within a few days to run the tests. It's likely to take some time before we'd be able to develop anything, so the sooner we gather data, the better!

[bittersweeter]

Sure. [It's not like anything is going to change in the interim, so she doesn't mind the wait.]

[rationalizes]

Excellent! It will give me an opportunity to finally study magic from other worlds, as well as Faerun.

[bittersweeter]

Glad to be of service. [SHE REALLY IS OKAY. Look at her, progressing someone's life work. She should get a prize for that, honestly.]
