[Andie ordered a dozen large pizzas from the closest pizza place and ran them back to the castle so she could feast. It was a lot, even for her metabolism, but hell, she could snack for a while, and this way she could even share if someone cool showed up. Anyway, it was on the knight's budget. Totally legit.

She took it to the TV room and stacked up the pizza boxes on the floor next to her. After devouring one of them, she picked up two of the controllers and started Mario Kart. Playing both at the same time was tricky, even with her attention span, but she didn't do too badly (concentration 12, use computer 15). But she was booooored. After almost thirty seconds of this, she stood up and started zooming through the castle, going from room to room in the squire section and knocking on doors, more or less at random.

When someone answers, she beams and gives a wave.]

Hi! Pizza party? Pizza and video games? Should be awesome!

[ALL THAT EXUBERANCE. How could she say no? Not that she would, the girl had her at pizza basically -- piglet, don'tcha know. So Violet followed her nose to the pizza, grabbing a slice and throwing herself at the couch like they were long lost siblings reunited. Oh my gosh couch I love you so much!

Vi and the couch had a bond.]

Best idea. [Which comes out a little muffled because she's chewing and her face is in a pillow. So it might sound like "bdjgfsdhfgaskf."]

[Luckily, Andie's fluent in couch-ese so she beams at the comment, snagging up a slice of pizza for herself.]

Right? Food here's awesome but come on. Pizza.

Absolute truth. You are the absolute best, you should get a pony.

... and share him. [She flops around like a fish out of water until her face is not buried in the couch.] I feel like pizza is pretty much the perfect mate. A little saucy, a little cheesy, delicious, makes you feel good, gives your tongue a work out. Pizza, be mine.

[ a familiar voice speaks up from behind the couch ] Good to get a list of what women are really looking for. Helps me step up my game. [ with a grin, he picks up a slice and holds it in front of his mouth, pointing a finger at it ] Your days of stealing all the hearts are numbered, pizza. [ and he takes a big sloppy bite ]

[Andie giggles at Vi's comment and then a little more at Fred's in an entirely different way.]

Not sure if you'll be able to work the cheese as well as the pizza does. Hate to break it to you.

[David has been part of this world for six months, which means he's been exposed to video games with dude friends, but isn't exactly great at them. After running into Andie, he accepts her invitation and finds his way down to the designated room while she gathers up more guests. Controller in hand, he's just really not doing well at this game (Computer Use 8) but doesn't seem to be getting too frustrated... yet.]

[Andie's back before too long due to her extreme speed and she leans over the back of the couch to watch him play.]

Wow. You suck a little. [A beat.] No offense.

[uncease]

[He looks over her shoulder and laughs.]

Uh, yeah... I guess I do. [He hits pause and holds the controller out to her.] Guess it's not really my game.

[shootfirst]

[ oh kat's here. to judge. ] What is? Pong?

[uncease]

[Sorry. Was he supposed to get that reference? HE HAS NO MEMORIES OF HIS LIFE, SO I ASSUME HE LOST THE MEMORY OF PONG.

...actually that might be a perk of this whole thing.]

[She will never admit to it, but Faye is actually pretty fond of Andie's company. Somehow her excessively bubbly personality doesn't grate on Faye's nerves 100% of the time (it's more like 75%...). She's also not one to turn down free pizza.

With a piece of cheese successfully acquired, Faye finds a comfortable seat to eat (and judge all of you). Whoever happens to be playing the video games at any given time is especially victim to her snark.]

You know... second place is just first loser.

[Andie wrinkles her nose at Faye and starts another game.]

Want to take me on? Bet you'd be, like, 10th loser.

[She just shrugs and takes the other controller.

...And with a nat 20 computer use check (total is only 21 BUT COME ON), Faye is having a big dose of what we like to call beginner's luck.]

I thought this game was supposed to be hard? [She says with a laugh as she maneuvers around another corner.]

[Andie doesn't do nearly as well (use computer 6) probably because she keeps giggling and insists on trying to eat pizza at the same time, so she wrinkles her nose as she continuously bumps into things and generally... sucks. But she doesn't care. She wrinkles her nose at Faye.]

Maybe you're just a Mario Kart prodigy.

[Faye likes these games when she's actually good at them.]

I guess. [She doesn't sound convinced but hey! She's still in the lead. She glances at Andie's side and lets out a laugh - an actual laugh rather than a scoff or a haughty chuckle.] Are you even trying?!

[ and who should waltz in behind the couch but dumage... ]

This is someone's idea of a party?

[Faye glances over her shoulder and shrugs.]

There was free food. [She's still 17. The call of pizza is too strong.]

[Awesome, not the word she would use, honestly.

But. Lila is stubborn and she wants to win the bet, and she's not going to let the possibility of some loophole make her lose. She grew up with Cassel, professional teenage bookie, she's learned to spot loopholes in bets.

So she's invited to a pizza party she doesn't want to go to and she goes anyway, because look at her, being a part of the knights. Of course, Lila's idea of being a part of the gang involves curling up on a comfortable chair with a book about psychology from the library and a slice of pizza on a napkin occasionally being nibbled at. That party part seems to elude her.]

[A little while in (okay, like ten minutes, but it feels like forever) Andie goes over to chat with her a little and see if she can't... bring up the socializing mood.]

Um. Hey! You said your name was Lila, right? Whatcha reading?

Yeah. [She closes the cover so Andie can see it. It's a textbook, Psychology of Personality. Once she's given enough time for the woman to look at it, she flips back to her original pages, which happen to be about the subconscious and dreams. She takes her work seriously.] Just... I'm not into video games.

So instead you're into... psychology? [NOT THAT ANDIE'S JUDGING. Actually she's judging a little. But she's trying not to make too much of a face.] I mean, c'mon, it's a party. You don't have to work on homework.

[ the small british brunette who came in with kat can't help but perk up when she captures a glance at lila's obviously non-fiction volume ] Oh, hello!

Hi. [She glances down at the book and then back to the woman. Like every other American on the planet, she is a sucker for a British accent. Her weakness. The book is hefted up a little so the cover can be seen.] Psychology of Personality.
