You're not wrong. [ emma doesn't look too guilty about it, though. a part of her is - she believes what he said about not leaving her. he meant it. that doesn't mean she needs to feel guilty about not offering the same faith to him. she has a lot more reasons not to than he does, she figures. ]

[ her sense motive check means she believes he's telling the truth. unfortunately for him, believing that he means what he's saying and believing that he won't hurt her are two different things. ]

[ she just watches him for a moment, then gives a thin smile that makes it clear: she's not here to sate his curiosity, and he's not getting an answer.

which is for the best, really. because the fact is, it's nothing to do with him that she doesn't want to, and everything to do with her. ]

[If there's one thing he loves talking about, its his adventures. Especially since she seems actually interested.]

Ah, there's a beautiful world. All the colors are brighter, somehow. It's the pixie dust, infusing everything.

[ she is genuinely interested. she's always felt a connection with neverland - watching peter pan as a kid, feeling like a lost boy in her own way, wanting to escape there.

now, it mostly reminds her of neal, though, and what tallahassee hadn't been. ]

Is it really like the movie? All ... mermaids, and Indians?

There were mermaids and Indians, yes. I doubt they were much like your "movie," though. [If her stories of Jack and such were anything to go off.] Unless your movie depicted them as deadly enemies that'd kill you before you could so much as blink.
