training ♔ friday morning

WHO || Fredrick Jr., Luthir, Dovan, entirely open
WHAT || Weapons training
WHERE || Knights HQ, Training Room / Armory / Firing Range / Gym, Dragon's Hide wing, 2nd floor
WHEN || Friday, March 17th from 10am onwards
HOW || Actionspam

It's that time again. New squires would have heard the word come 'round that there would be open weapons orientation this Friday - which is also open to anyone who just wants to come spar with the newbies as well. As before, at the top of the main staircase is the entrance to an incredibly spacious room, that has gym and weight training equipment on the wall near the door, and then lots of old school training dummies and more at the far end. A glass door enters into a firing range, and another pair of large doors on the farthest wall lead to the armory.

Sir Luthir stands off to one side, all impassive elf, armored in his light, beautifully worked metal, and carrying a sword. Red-headed Sir Ironsides hefts an axe over his shoulder and offers a boisterous greeting to those approaching, and Fred helps round people up to the middle of the room.

Some of the squires' mentor Knights will have accompanied them - others will have left them to their own devices. Everyone's welcome to tag into threads or make their own!

[Alec doesn't like the sound of the arms spiel at all. Soon as Fred is done there's a short nod from him and his hand rests in the pocket closest to his gun out of habit.]

How do we get one of these gold stars.

And.. if we don't have any government certified training, what would we do then?

[He hesitates to even ask because unlicensed guns are a bit risky to admit to, but he's certainly not going to try forgery with the knights. That's just asking for trouble.]

I'm familiar.

[Very familiar.

At least it sounded like he wouldn't have to go to the government. That was a relief because the less he had to deal with them was probably for the better.]

And when or where should I go about doing something like that?

I'm always down for it.

[There is gunpowder in this boy's blood.]
