It's that time again. New squires would have heard the word come 'round that there would be open weapons orientation this Friday - which is also open to anyone who just wants to come spar with the newbies as well. As before, at the top of the main staircase is the entrance to an incredibly spacious room, that has gym and weight training equipment on the wall near the door, and then lots of old school training dummies and more at the far end. A glass door enters into a firing range, and another pair of large doors on the farthest wall lead to the armory.

Sir Luthir stands off to one side, all impassive elf, armored in his light, beautifully worked metal, and carrying a sword. Red-headed Sir Ironsides hefts an axe over his shoulder and offers a boisterous greeting to those approaching, and Fred helps round people up to the middle of the room.  

Some of the squires' mentor Knights will have accompanied them - others will have left them to their own devices. Everyone's welcome to tag into threads or make their own!

[Violet has already been certified for all the things she wants -- one day she will man up and get trained for their shiny gun, but not today. Today she has come to talk to Dovan to see if she can get her bow restrung because she probably needs it, but she gets distracted by the guy scoping out the sparring people.

[Klaus turns his attention away from those currently sparring in order to glance in the direction of the woman who'd approached.]

I thought I'd just observe for the time being. After all, it's always good to know what you can expect from others.
