Nothing is okay.

What was meant to be the Knights' triumphant collaborative effort to cut off Chad Becksworth's bid for total control of NOVA Records, allowing them to follow the trail elsewhere, has descended into chaos. Rafael's songs triggered some kind of reaction in Jade that allowed her to regain her lost memories, only to have their reunion cut tragically short by the actions of a hitman who took her hostage on stage, demanding her necklace. While Myri and Violet attempted to convince him that the necklace did not lie with her, Jade signaled to Rafael that she meant to utilize the distraction to break free - but things went out of control and Rafael's bullets struck Jade instead. The Knights felled the hitman, as the world watched, and Rafael begged a distraught and enraged Des to end his life. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure that only Buffy & Spike could see assisted Myrilandel in healing Jade enough to hang on for a little time more...

Time for people to say goodbye.

In the meantime, the police have arrived, arresting Rafael, Archer, and Des (or attempting to), and preparing Jade to be taken to the hospital. Everyone else is being ordered to head outside to be taken down to the station for questioning. It's a hectic scene, but people can finally snatch a few moments amid the chaos to try to make sense of what just happened...

Sweet. [Her hand covers the mouth piece.] Italia's out on bail, someone needs to pick him up. I vote Des.

[Back to Burt:] What about you? I mean, are you... safe? Or whatever?

So long as Finnick's little piece is done threatening to bash my face in, now that I held up my end.

[Finnick's little... Myri? She glances back and she is just thoroughly impressed. Thumbs up sis.] ...for now, I can hold her at bay.

Good. Any sign of my Golden Boy?

Starshine is aces, no worries. Anything else you desire before I hang up on you? [She's not even being rude, okay, just honest. They have stuff to do and Burt is not the dude she wants to talk to.]

If Raf's got anything lying around the hotel he shouldn't (*cough*ild-chay ornography-pay*cough*) do me a favor and delete and/or burn everything before the cops get a warrant. You're a peach. [ and he hangs up on YOU. ]

I do hope you intend to bring him back in one piece, Mr. Descant.

Well, I'd offer to bring someone along for the ride, but the 'vette only seats two.

[He shrugs. He already said he was going to punch him. Buffy can inform everyone he had no intentions of actually shooting him. That's it. That's all that needs to be said.] Ciao.

I got dream dialed. Apparently Keijen was holding the phone while his pal drunk texted my brain and since I need to find him... I need to talk to the angry poodle first.

Yeah, that isn't entirely unexpected actually, Myr.

[Which is why she still won't actually make eye contact with with Myri and Finnick. Since she, you know, said she wouldn't go looking for him. But at least she is telling someone? So ten points for that right?]

This guy has my memories, the ones I don't have, or at least he has access to them to taunt me and I would really like to know why. And what the hell my supposed birthright is.

Bad guy shows up in your dreams and your first instinct is to believe a word he says? Seems bloody suspicious if you ask me.

Of course it's suspicious. But if you're going to go through the trouble of dream stalking someone, which means specifically waiting until I am passed out to make his advances, why would you lie? He's... [She sighs, running a hand through her hair as she shakes her head.] He isn't lying.

The truth can be just as dangerous as a lie. I agree, you shouldn't go alone.

[ gar looks, well, mildly distressed ] I don't think this is the time for anyone to be going anywhere, particularly headlong into completely unpredictable danger. We've had more than enough tragedy for now.

[Thanks Dad, way to make her feel like a jerk. She looks to Gar, worried because she sure just sprung this on everyone without warning and that was probably rude.]

I can wait. [She can't actually, and she doesn't want to suffer through those dreams until she figures all this out, but she feels like she should be able to wait. For the greater good or whatever, to make sure Raf is okay and everyone is emotionally stable. Ish.]

There is probably something else you should all know though. Since its storytime and considering everything.
