Back in the Saddle Again!

Riddick wasn't really one to keep in touch with people... well ever really, but mostly while on a mission. Which is where he had been, for a while. Once that mission was finished though, he took some time for himself and just sort of... disappeared for a few months. No phone calls, no letters, not even a postcard. What a jerk.

After those few months of being all out of touch with everyone in the castle here he comes strolling casually through the front door, no luggage, and still looking like he gives no fucks. Which he doesn't.

Hit him with your best shot.

Well, when I came through the veil the year was 2572. So a while ago.

... That sounds a little backwards to me.

[He's just kind of side-eyeing her strangely.]

[ A look of comprehension crosses his features, finally getting where she was coming from.]

No, unfortunately no time machines. I meant I went to the city I was found in, here on earth, to see if I would recognize anything. To see how changed it was.

[He shrugs non-commitally] I guess. Least, it was the last time I was near this solar-system.

[He glances at her sideways, a toothy grin coming to his lips.]

You'd be surprised how far space travel ends up taking humankind.

I don't suppose you have any space-age tech for me to look at?

[He spreads his arms wide, showing off his very buff physique in a tank top and army issue black pants. The tank top was tight enough to leave nothing to the imagination.]

What you see is what you get. Though, I may be able to help you upgrade some of the tech you have already.

[ OH RIGHT THEY'RE GETTING IN A CAR TOO ] It's what I do.

[He reaches the door of the car before her, holding it open wide.] So tell me about some of the stuff you've made. I'm intrigued.

[ she slides in and waits for him to come around before saying: ] Most of the Knights' standard issue equipment now.

[He closes the door once she's in, going around to his side and sliding in as well.]

Does that include the aircraft?

I didn't build them from scratch, no. But I did some of the upgrades.

I may be able to help you with some more of those upgrades. Aircraft have always been one of my hobbies.

Oh? [ a modicum of real interest creeps into her tone ] Modifications, you mean?

'Course. [Man of many words here.] Tell me, what kind of cloaking devices do the Knights planes have?

[Oh please please please tell me that Riddick can be the one to help the Knights make their version of the X-Men's X-Wing???? Pleaseeeee?????]
