[Miles likes to go on runs in the morning sometimes, when it's not too hot, and before the sun is up too high in the sky seems to be the best time.

Granted, given his not getting up too early schedule usually puts his run in at about 10 am or so.

Feel free to run into him as he's jogging or when he's walking back inside, all hot and sweaty. ;)]

[Sorry that you're not going to get to show off those shiny, sweaty muscles to some pretty girl (this time, at least). It's just your run of the mill dude squire hanging out in the foyer when Miles returns. It's still pretty early so everything is fairly quiet. Charming looks up when Miles enters the foyer and gives a nod.]

[One run of the mill squire meets another, then. And if he's determine to run into ladies, he can do that later, no worries Charming. ;)]

[He waves a hand at him as he wipes his forehead with a rag from his pocket.]

Man, I should have gone earlier. It's getting hot as hell out there. August is so brutal.

Give it a few months. You'll be praying for it once winter hits.

This is why I would live in San Fransisco, if I could. Middle 70's almost every day.

[But he shrugs his shoulders with a smile, putting the towel back in his pocket and shoving out a friend hand.]

David. [Telling another guy that his name is Charming is just not okay... Besides, its just a last name and the other David isn't nearby to make shit confusing. He takes the hand and shakes it with a smile.]

Hey, I hear there are Knights stationed all over. Maybe you could start up a SanFran branch.

Can't start up anything while I'm just a lowly squire.

[Though his tone indicates he doesn't actually think of it that way, he's just messing around.]

'Sides, I like the people here. Feels like home, bad weather and all.

I know what you mean. This place has a weird tendency to get under your skin- in a good way.

So how long have you been squired here? [He's so out of the loop, but at least he's friendly???]

Exactly.

[Glad to see he's not the only one that feels that way.

And he's totally not offended. There's a lot of them here, really, and he definitely doesn't know everyone. Who honestly would be able to keep up with all of that?]

I was squired back in...November? [He starts to count on his fingers.] So...9 or 10 months I guess.

Guess that makes you more of an expert on how it works around here. I came in back in February- but my first mission kept me away for a good chunk of time. Still feel like I'm getting back into the swing of things.

I honestly didn't realize it had been so long until you asked.

[He nods.]

Yeah, they can do that sometimes. It's more exciting than being around here, though.

I think I've had enough excitement for a bit, honestly. My first mission turned into something of an extended stay. What about you? See anything crazy out there?

I think the corpse children took the cake on creepy things I never wanted to deal with in my lifetime.

[ miles isn't the only jogger on the block. as he turns a corner, fred jr. steers into place beside him, sweat staining his gray muscle shirt, indicating he's been out here awhile already. ] Good morning for it.

I think they're just in there to make people trying to learn the language go nuts trying to work out what's literal and what isn't.

I'm pretty sure the answer is none of it. At least when I open my mouth, anyway.
